          Description

If you have a long ride ahead, and you know the conditions will be rough, a Motoz Tractionator motorcycle tire is the right choice. The Tractionator Desert is designed to handle harder terrain, especially hard trails, desert sand with hard pack variations and fast rocky conditions. Its unique patented tread design handles off camber sections to help climb out of ruts and hard braking at extreme lean angles.

          • Made from 100% natural rubber, nothing else provides the same elasticity, reflex and deflection for the best traction
          • Heavy duty case construction with a dense weave ply cord so greater strength and higher ply rating is achieved with less ply layers
          • Constructed with thicker side walls for maximum strength
          • Sidewalls and rim area are specially designed to protect the rim, but also to minimize pinch flats
          • Vertical reinforcement section between the sidewall layers for greater sidewall strength
          • Carcass is protected by a thick layer of rubber under the tread and around the sidewalls to help minimize punctures
          • Rubber cushion zone allows a small amount of flex under the tread blocks to aid reflex traction and reduce chunk off, increasing tire life and acting as a heat sink to help cool the tire in extreme conditions
          • Terrapactor tread block design and placement helps compact, compress or wedge the terrain creating extra traction, drive and lift
          • This unique concept coupled with the use of superior rubber quality works to lessen the impact on the terrain and provide extra traction
          • Crown Radius Section specifically matched to the application, not just a heavier motocross tire
          • Specifically designed for quick fitting and reduced service times
          • Good for long mileage, hard packed desert (like sand over concrete)
          • Excellent absorption and puncture resistance for outback and dirt back roads
          • Known all over the world for being dependable in the toughest conditions - used in desert racing from Morocco to Baja
          • M-rated for speed up to 130 km/h (81 mph)
          • DOT approved

          Designed for use in conditions:

          • 95% Dry - 5% Wet
          • 90% Hard - 10% Soft

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True Hard Core dual Sport I bought this tire to replace Heidenau scout on my DRZ400s fully modified. It's an off road tire, not for someone who thinks a dual sport rides like a golldwing. BUT I drove with it everywhere offroad and on road and highway. The rear is at 1/2 after 2500 km (lot of asphalt) et I changed the front at 2500 km (front wheel wasn't balanced, 1 out of 2 knobbie was missing) . That's what I'm gonna put on my FE501 s soon ! I prefer n offroad tire on the road than an on road tire offroad....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great off road tire with adequate on road quality 4k out of this tire on a KTM 990 which is about average for aggressive riding. Good traction even when %75 worn. If you ride off road then check this tire out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A better tire I bought this tire because I was tires of the selection of ADV tires that are barely able to be called a knobby. The 990 was having trouble tracking out of ruts and holding a line when wet. An aggressive knobby tire that is street legal was necessary. On the road the extra knob is a bit heavy feeling at highway speeds and the extra height will need the forks to be lowered accordingly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dual sport rear tire for trail riding The tire is quite stiff and heavy and appears to be well made. It is an aggressive dual sport tire and is a little noisy in a straight line but quiets down when leaning over since the side knobs are closer together. Feels stable in the corners on pavement. If this tire provides good lifetime, the higher cost will be justified but so far only 612 km's travelled on it. Really glad I had this tire for a November ride up the pipeline trail in the eastern townships at -2C and snow covered sections. The aggressive center knobs dug in and kept the bike moving forward. Not sure how well it would do on a lighter dual sport like my 1985 XL350R due to weight and stiffness.

will these work on a bike with tubes?iwanna put them on my 1985 klr600 130/80 17

          Asked by: luke
We are unable to guarantee the fitment of tires for specific vehicles due to possible modifications. You can confirm the front and rear tire sizes that you require by checking your owner's manual, or by checking the current tire sizes that you have installed (the size will be written on the sidewall of the tire). The 130/80-17 size is specifically designed for tube type rims.
