What you should expect in chain lube
Looks, smells and feels like the same stuff that new chains come shipped with. Sticks well to chain (no fling, at civilized speeds) even on rainy days, but not so sticky/tacky to attract the unwanted filth. Comes off easy with kerosene when chain needs cleaning.
It's special because it's not in a spray can. It's a clean application without having to "mask" your bike. Fits in the tail for those longer trips.
Tip: on longer trips without access to centre/paddock stand, bring toothbrush to apply it where the tube applicator simply cannot access on its own. Both pieces still take up less space than a spray can.

Good concept, but could be improved
THe concept is great but first it's hard to apply a very thin coat evenly and it seems to be attracting more dirt then other greases I've tried. Also tends to fling off the chain. I'm going back to Bel-ray grease in spray. I had high hopes for this as it's less messy to apply then conventional spray. But the downside is dirt sticks to it more then it to the chain.

Fini les éclaboussures
BEAUCOUP moins de projection sur la jante ainsi que sur l'assemble arriere de votre moto...Perso je prends une brosse a dent pour étaler la pate...ramasse moins de saleté que le Spray-lubrifiant de la meme marque ''motul'' et se nettoie plus vite...sous la pluie elle fait bien son travail...fait pas mal moins de ''cambouie'' au niveau du sproket primaire... j'adore la pate ;)

Motul C5 Chain Lube Paste
Excellent product. Does what its suppose to. Paste sticks to chain very good but make sure to heat up chain when applying so paste is less likely to fling off. Only complaint would be the application tip. Doesnt allow for constant, even application on the chain. But nothing too serious, just gotta pay attention to where the paste is on the chain.

Covers the chain !
Takes longer to apply than C2 spray, but so far so good. The color is light grey and looks awsome on a black bike with an RKchain.

Do you use this instead of chain lube spray or on top of chain lube spray????
Yes!! It take more time than spray to apply but hold well and not sling all over...it maybe don't penetrate as well than chain wax or lube
