Mountain Lab's newest FRS radio is the compact and lightweight Squad Radio. The Squad radio is designed to be worn on the shoulder strap of a rider's backpack for easy accessibility while riding, using the included shoulder strap mounting harness.
For the best possible range, the Squad uses the maximum allowed 2 watt transmission power for a license-free FRS radio in North America. The Squad radio can communicate with any Mountain Lab or FRS radio from other brands such as BCA or Motorola, and the channel setting and CTCSS privacy code are easy to adjust in the field if needed.
