Alright
So many people swear by this - but it’s not living up to the hype for me. The backrest itself is great. Very well made, definitely solid, and easy to install. I had one small issue with the bolt used in height adjustment (the detent bolt). The little spring loaded bearing would stick out, not allow adjustment, and keep the back rest locked. I’d have to take the back see off from the brace and slip my seat over the bracket, then remove the screw. Tried to lubricate it - we’ll see how long it lasts. But another solidly made Mustang product. For what it is though, $500 is STEEP! Service from Fortnine - that’s always a 10/10 - couldn’t be happier.

Quick & Easy installation
It’s February so I haven’t been able to ride with the backrest yet but looks as if it will do just what I need. The installation was so easily accomplished with basic tools and took me less than 30 minutes including unboxing the backrest. Can’t wait to get out on the road and try this out.

will this driver backrest fit vulcan 900 classic
This backrest is designed to fit with the Mustang One-Piece Ultra seat or the Harley Davidson Stock seat. It will not fit the Vulcan stock seat or the Mustang Solo seats.
