Too far up and ahead
I bought this seat, really easy install but when I sat on the bike I was now at least 1" higher and at least 1" ahead. Not the riding position I wanted. Very easy to return the item..trying a Tripper

Not good for short inseam. Moves you up.
To be fair the seat is a quality product but it moved my riding position up and back.
So for me on a xl883c this is not a good match. Maybe a Bare Bones? Hopefully the return will a non issue.

Your butt will thank you
I love my Indian Scout 60. What I do not love is the stock seat. If you know anything about this bike, you know that almost every rider complains about it. As in, an uncomfortable ride after 60+ minutes. Not ideal. This was true for me even though I am a lighter guy at 155 lbs. So I was hopeful when I bought the Mustang Solo seat from Fortnine (Mustang Solo Seat Original - Black Vinyl - 75374). As always, they shipped the item quickly. And my oh my was my butt happy. This is a *huge* improvement over the stock seat. It has thick padding and comfortable for long rides. How long? Well, a month after buying the Mustang Solo seat I did a 2200 km tour. Day 1 was 640 km and 11 hours. Yes, eleven. And in those many hours, my butt did not complain. Thank you Mustang Solo seat and Fortnine!

Amazing!
I bought this seat after I tried other gel inserts and I should have done this years ago. This seat is incredible. So comfortable and my butt is thanking me after many miles in this saddle.

Comfort and Looks!
This seat somehow ticks both the comfort and style boxes. As long as you aren't a really big guy who needs a sofa on his bike, this seat is plenty big and well designed to keep you comfortable all day and it looks great as a solo seat! Throw on the drivers backrest and it really takes the comfort up a notch. All around great product, well built.
The only caution: it fits really snug on my Street Glide, and I had to really work it to get it into position. The fist time I thought I had it, but it was actually slightly crooked. I thought maybe I had a defective seat, but then after some more finessing I managed to get it just right.
