Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I thought it would be I bought this to eliminate the centre rear brake light on my 2016 sportster (Canadian model). I was under the impression from the description that this unit would plug directly into the turn signals and give them the functionality as brake lights too, which would get rid of the main rear end harness that's glued to the bottom of the fender and the tail light that has an integrated circuit board. The unit plugs into the rear main harness so you can't get rid of that, and it requires the rear circuit board that is internal to the rear center light. The turn signals work as brake lights but you still need to have all that extra wiring and circuit board for it to be "plug and play" Next, the instructions. They are detailed and good, but only for one model, and not the model I purchased. Perhaps this was an isolated incident of the incorrect instructions being in a package for a different model. However for $220 you would expect an accurate piece of paper to what you're purchasing. At the end of the day, I'm going to do a bit of reading to see if I can splice some wires up on the front end if the harness to get rid of the circuit block and the long rear harness that I was under the impression that this unit would eliminate.
