          Description

National Cycle Spotlight Bars not only look great on your cruiser, they are also a considerable safety feature. Their 35-watt halogen bulbs light up the night on those long, dark roads and, at the same time, make you more visible to oncoming traffic. Our Spotlight Bars are wired for activation with your headlight high beam switch, but with our N9001 Spotlight Bar Switch (sold separately), they can be turned off when supplemental lighting is not needed. National Cycle manufactures a complete line of Spotlight Bars and guarantees the fit of the light bar with our windshields. We engineer complementary clearances to ensure the Spotlight Bars will fit with our SwitchBlade®, Heavy Duty™ and Dakota 4.5™ windshields, and with our Chrome Lowers. National Cycle's Spotlight Bars are fully assembled and wired for easy installation.

          Features:

          • National Cycle light bars will fit Heavy Duty or Dakota 4.5mm styled windshield specified in the application chart on the following page
          • Engineered complimentary clearances ensure that Light Bar fits correctly with the Windshield and Chrome Lower Deflector
          • Light bars come fully assembled and pre-wired complete with turn signals. (In certain cases, turn signals are not required.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from does not properly fit the C50T Site stated that it fit the C50T. It would fit if you omitted replacing the chrome trim that fits over the signal lights. Had to make up some spacers to allow me to lower the windshield mounting brackets by an inch. Also, bulb burnt out after one day of riding. Good luck finding replacement bulbs. Had to order different style bulbs and hoping that they fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality Just installed these lamps on my wife’s Shadow Ace. Start to finish was 1 hour. Installation was beyond easy. Instructions and hardwear were excellent. Finish and fit were perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from light bar Got this for my '98 Shadow ACE Went on fine, played with the wiring to get it to work. Biggest pain is that it's supposed "to ground itself to the frame". Well, it wouldn't work until I added a ground wire of my own..... Then it worked fine! I'll be changing the spotlight bulbs over to LED as they're kinda weak as supplied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install. Bought this for our Honda Stateline CRA, fit was perfect. Wire connectors and instructions were simple to follow. Love the look, works great. Tks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great when you finish fixing all the issues Bought over a month ago. Put it on the bike which was far more involved than it sounded in the description. Within days I had to replace both running light bulbs. The ones that come with it are garbage. Single wire no coil. Then one after the other the spotlight bulbs went. Not a huge expense but annoying. The lights worked great after that and I love them. They do exactly what I wanted them to do.... but then they overloaded the wiring in my ignition switch and melted it. I now have to replace my switch assembly which was hard to find. I have decided to get the optional switch for the spot lights and have the bar rewired again so the power comes directly from a power source instead of through the ignition with the rest of the lights.

          Questions

Does it get tied into the OEM lighting circuit or is a separate auxiliary switch necessary thank you in advance Michael

          Asked by: Michael
Yes, it is designed to tie into the existing high-beam circuit, however some people prefer an aux switch to allow engagement of the light bar independent of the high-beam switch. Make sure to confirm the wiring on your bike, as the colour coding indicated in the instructions may not be accurate for all makes and models. The colour coding was incorrect on my older Virago. As a side note, the installation instructions can be downloaded from the product link on the FortNine website.

The images show a straight bar and an offset bar. Which one would fit on a Kawasaki Vulcan VN800?

          Asked by: walt
If you go to the fitment check feature of the website, and enter make, year and exact model of your VN800: the site should then match the light bar needed to fit your bike. If your not sure of the exact model, got to Kawasaki.com and enter your VIN in the documents/parts lookup. It will tell you the year and model subtype ( I.E. VN800-A2 or VN800-B3 ). Hope that helps you out.

Is it equipped with high and low beam or is there just one general settings thank you in advance Michael

          Asked by: Michael
It is just one setting. They can be aimed, or wired for high, low, or independent operation. I used a kuryakyn switch/relay and independent operation.
