I bought the national cycle heavy duty custom windshield for my 2018 Honda rebel 300. Purchased the heavy duty mounting hardware separately. Brackets were very difficult to install on the rebel’s forks. The screws barely were long enough to get it to mount. After a lot of effort, I finally managed to install it. A month later I bought a Harley 883 and moved the windshield over to the Harley. The forks were narrower on the Harley and the windshield was incredibly easy to install.

Perfect
The best windshield i have used. Be very careful when buying this as the brackets are sold seperatly. Fortnine was cheaper by average $150 then anywhere else.

Goooood lookin
Really good looking shield. Installation was a little tricky, as the heavy steel spacers were twice as long as we're needed. Once I cut them in half, the fit was good on my Suzuki Boulevard S50. Overall, I'm very happy with the product, and the fit.

Solid Windshield
I bought this shield a couple of months ago and I have to say I'm very impressed! I was worried at first because I ordered the wrong mounting hardware for my 04 vstar 1100, but the shield fit perfectly on the hardware that was already on the bike and it even sites at the perfect height. Great product!

Nice looking shield....but
Just got shield, looks great but have trouble lining it up!.. Gap around lite is always off?... If it would line up straight it would go from great shield to awesome!.....

Perfectly perfect
Purchased a V-star 650 with a Dakota 4.5 on it and it was too low for me as I am 6'2". This fits perfectly with the Dakota mount so I only needed to buy the shield and not spend for a whole kit. This is about 2" taller than the Dakota, and not as narrow but I actually like the extra wind on my arms for cooling on the longer rides. Free shipping is always fast and like everything else purchased from CAnadasmotorcyle the product was well packaged, and well priced.

How difficult is this windshield to install/remove? e.g. if I want to put it on for highway trips and take it off for my short commute and for spins around the neighbourhood, is it going to be a lot of hassle?

Although it's not considered a quick release shield, it can be removed from the mounting hardware in less than 5 minutes by undoing four bolts.

How tall is the windshield from the head light cut out to the top of the shield. Yes I know it says 19 inches, but is that the total length of the shield or from the cut out? Thanks

is the cut out in the windscreen wide enough to go around the rectangular headlight on a Honda Magna V65, if not, how does it mount ?
Hello ezmag, the windscreen I purchased for my Suzuki Intruder 1400 has a cut out section that is 11" wide by 8 1/2" high. It is filled in to match my headlight with a smaller clear piece which when done with care, could be custom cut to fit your Honda headlight nacelle. I purchased the heavy duty mounts designed for the windscreen which mount on the top section of the forks. Used to drive the V45, got the Suzuki now, hope this helps.
