The Dakota™ 3.0 Windshield gives a custom look to many bikes with exposed forks and a fork tube width from 175mm to 245mm (center-to-center). The Dakota 3.0 is made from 3.0mm thick High Impact Acrylic and comes complete with all mounting hardware. Patented variable width brackets and adjustable diameter fork clamps allow this windshield to fit almost any make and model motorcycle! This windshield is designed for bikes with high turn signal placement. For bikes with low mounted turn signals, use N2310. Get a custom look and great wind protection.

always thought id hate the look of a windshield on my cruiser, but i was wrong. great windshield for the price, took 10 minutes and half a beer to install. really cuts down on the wind to the chest. glad i got it!

windshield is perect !!
Bought it to fit my wife's Yamaha vstar 250, and it looks just fine. Install took about a half-hour, and was not difficult. We are very happy with this windshield, and think it actually makes the bike look better too. She enjoys highway riding now!!

Great wind breaker
I bought this at the end of last season when temperatures were going down a bit. I t was great for breaking the wind and the few remaining bugs. It was easy to install with adequate instructions and once installed it did not vibrate.

Perfect except for one issue
You have to put it together. I found it extremely difficult to fit/squeeze the chrome bars so much so that now that it’s installed there are fingerprints everywhere between the chrome and windshield that is evident from the front. I’m addition to the installation instructions there should also be a caution about the difficulty and how to avoid fingerprints. I feel like it has to be taken off, taken apart by someone other than me and reinstalled. It was disappointing. It’s beautiful mind you but I was so disappointed after al of the struggle to put the thing together.

What is the difference between the low mount and tall mount. Will either fit on a 2013 Yamaha V-Star 250?
Both the short and tall shield for your 2013 Yamaha V-Star 250 come with the low mount, designed for motorcycles with low mount turn signals.
The short shield dimensions are:
