Flimsy and take up threads on your mirrors
Manual says "don't overtighten", but it's REALLY easy to overtighten. Basically if you use wrench on them, you'll likely to see cracks later on.
Also it shortens effective length of the treaded portion of mirror stem. If yours are short already (like stock mirrirs on Shadow), it'll be even shorter.
Installation is pretty easy (just don't use ANY force on screws). Deflectors deflect, so works as expected. No idea about shatter resistance however. Probably not much, taking into account how easily it falls apart on slight overtightening.

Look and work great
Purchased these for a 2005 Yamaha VStar Classic and arrived in a few days. These fit right on to the bike with ease but didn't line up as I would have liked. With some new drilled hole and a little bending along with some new paint they now look and work great.
