To keep your windshield clearer in rainy weather, National Cycle developed RainZip®, a specially formulated rain repellent treatment for National Cycle’s Quantum® Hardcoated Polycarbonate Windshields. It’s also very effective on other polycarbonate windshields and helmet faceshields.
RainZip is hydrophobic. When rain accumulates on your windshield, RainZip will cause it to quickly bead up and blow away, even at speeds of only 35MPH.
Available in a 3-oz. size with special application cloths. This is enough for two large windshield applications, each lasting 3-4 months.
RainZip will give you a clearer view of the road ahead... especially when it’s wet!

Not very effective
I wanted something to help speed the rain off the windshield and my helmet visor and as I have a National Cycle windshield, I gave this a try. I did not find it effectively helped the rain zip off of the windshield and it was also not much of an improvement on my helmet visor.
It is certainly no where near as effective as glass treatments are on glass. But as you can not use glass treatments on polycarbonate I gave this a shot.
Overall a slight improvement over nothing. I will try another product next time.
