Rated 4 out of 5 by from You get a good bang for what you pay for. Hey, it's a 200$ windshield with installation kit. Don't expect to compare it to a 300$ dollar windshield + 200$ parts. For that reason it's a 4 stars. Checking my boxes: -I wanted an easy to remove windshield for my motorcycle. "check" -I wanted the shield to bring my cruiser into the 2020 fashion "check" -Being 6,2 on my big cruiser, I wanted it properly deviate wind from my helmet and chest on the highway. "check" -It was universal enough to work with my Fire and Steel. "check" Now for the "mehs" -The mounting kit that stays attached to the motorcycle handlebar and forks is U.G.L.Y ... but I wasn't prepared to fork over 200$ for a sleek chrome quick release mounting kit. -The mounting kit mechanism that holds the windshield in place sucks, the rods and tightening bolts didn't fit properly ... that being said, if you're ready to enlarge a few holes and add some hidden electrical tape, it's all good. -The windshield is slender. Don't expect it to block all the wind. Sum all, I'm satisfied. I use my motorcycle everyday to drive to work and love using it. My biggest problem was countering the wind on the highway for long rides from pushing against my chest, neck and head: this windshield does just that. It looks great on and goes well with the curves of my buxom motorcycle. Unfortunately, I dislike that it leaves my handlebar a little too plasticky looking when the deflector is off. But i repeat... Hey, it's a 200$ windshield with installation kit. Don't expect to compare it to a 300$ dollar windshield + 200$ parts. For that reason it's a 4 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes a big difference I found that I was getting a lot of wind buffeting at highway speeds and purchased this to help relieve that. It has made long rides more enjoyable. Once I figure out where the best place to attach everything, install was fairly easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great on 2019 Honda Rebel 500! The National Cycle N25013 windshield looks better than expected on my wife’s 2019 Honda Rebel 500 cruiser. The tint is perfect and looks so sleek. Was worried that the installation bars might look ugly, however it looks absolutely perfect. My wife and I both took the motorcycle for a ride on the highway and what a world of difference! Keeps so much wind off your face and sooo much quieter….can actually hear to shift gears now lol. Would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely make, provides good coverage Well made windshield--material of construction is polycarbonate (Lexan) as opposed to acrylic. This is the same material that fighter canopies and safety glasses are made of. Acrylic, which most windshields are made of, is cheaper and crack prone. Fitting to my Moto Guzzi V7 took a bit of fiddling. It was necessary to adjust and turn the mounting arms a few times before I got the windshield to an angle and fit that I was happy with. While riding it provides coverage of my torso and most of my full face helmet. It's stable at highway speeds and looks good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits the Bolt well but mounting hardware is meh The mounting rods I received were all slightly different diameters so certain rods would only fit in certain brackets and adjusting is difficult but I managed to get it to work and it stays put up to 130kmh so far. Some parts of the mounting hardware are pretty cheap plastic but they do the job. At my height (5'7") the top of the windshield is right at eye level and a little annoying but I'm used to it now, just need to sit up straight. Gripes aside, it blocks the highway wind nicely though and thats what I got it for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will fit a Sportster S I purchased this hoping it would fit my sportster s, because Harley has left Canadian customers hanging. We can’t buy parts, like the windshield. Anyhow fits well, just put it on. Had to play around to find the perfect spot to fit and buy bigger hose clamps. Only thing I was a bit disappointed with is I had to drill out the tightening caps for the lower arms, the ones in the kit were not big enough. Would have gave 5 starts if I didn’t have to modify their own parts to fit their own stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems solid enough This was bought for my wifes 2021 Honda Rebel 500 after reading someone else here had bought it for their wifes Rebel 500. Construction is solid. We had to cut some nubs off the bars on the bike that held wires to the bars to make it fit properly and just sanded them down. They were underneath the bars anyway and outta sight so no worries. It took use awhile and a few attempts to figure out how to mount the thing properly and which way the arms worked best etc. So far, its held up well enough at high speeds of 110kph. The arms havent moved in the slots that help you to angle them in position either. The instructions are horrid though so I wouldnt rely on them very much. Overall, its a solid buy. would be 5 stars but like I said, the install due to instructions took it down a peg.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn’t fit Despite it saying it was for the size of my bars, this did not fit my bike. Almost scratched my bike bars trying to get it on and some of the hardware was crude and ugly at best. Returned it.

Questions

How do you determine the perfect angle of the windshield? Should it be in line with the fork angle?

Asked by: Griffon
The angle will be what fits your riding position best. Are you in a real 'taco" position or more of a squared "L" position with your head straight up in the wind. You will have to play with the angle of the windshield to find which angle fits your riding position best to defect wind up and over your head and helmet
