Our Street Shield™ features a solid 4-point mount that attaches to the handlebars with our patented QuickSet™ mounts and to the upper fork tubes with hose clamps. This product and the included mount kit fits 7/8" (22mm) handlebars. The patented No-Hole Ballsocket™ mounts provide a good range of adjustment, and the shallow headlight cutout makes the Street Shield an excellent choice for both early and late model motorcycles. National Cycle Street Shield EX
I have this windshield mounted on a 2023 Triumph Speed Twin 900. I'm 5' 10 1/2" tall. I get no buffeting and the wind coming over the top is smooth and hits the top of my helmet, just above my face shield. . It is very adjustable and stable on the bike. It hasn't caused any ill affects on the handling of the bike. I would suggest that you try the windshield in a couple of different positions to find the one that suits you.
Windshields like everything else have gotten expensive but this is one of the better ones I've tried over my 50+ years of motorcycle riding. The tint is very light and is almost unnoticeable. It's actually better than a clear screen as you don't get the glare off it. I also am a fan of 4 mount systems on a wind shield, makes them much more stable.
I would recommend this windshield, its easy to install. I ride approx 4 days a week during.

Stylish windshield offers good protection.
I bought this windsheld for my 'Guzzi V7 at the beginning of the summer 2024 and am about to order second one for my other V7. This is a stylish small windshield that is nicely curved so as to compliment the styling of round headlight modern classics. It offers nice protection without being so big that it's affected by crosswinds. The mounting hardware is well made although it took a bit of fiddling to adjust everything to a point where I was happy (I like my windshields to fit just so). The windshield material appears to be polycarbonate (i.e. Lexan) vs acrylic as is stated in one place in the description. I suspect polycarbonate because to get my desired fit I had to remove a little piece of windshield material on each side of the headlight cutout. I torture tested these little pieces and could not get the material to crack, even with a big hammer. This is not acrylic which cracks and shatters easily.

Did not fit
I have a 1995 BMW R1100R. When I ordered this windscreen I entered that information into the website for this product and FortNines site indicated that this would fit that motorcycle. However upon receiving the product and trying to install it I found that the clamps for the bars do not fit and in order to use it I would have to machine a clamp for the bars. It is important for customers to know that what they are ordering will be the appropriate part.
