Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality First off - this review isn't a reflection on FortNine. Customer service was amazing, so helpful, and they processed a refund for me very quickly. Couldn't be happier with the experience and I will continue to shop with them. However, the rain suit was garbage. After 3 weeks, the inside rubber coating on the pants was rubbing off the garment, eliminating any water resistance. After a 20 minute ride, my pants were soaked. I did some repairs with Aqua-Seal, and after another 3 weeks, more instances of the rubber coating rubbing off. Plus, some of the seam tape was coming apart. I ride my motorcycle back and forth to the office. I'm not an aggressive off road rider where this item would be experiencing a lot of wear and tear. After 3 weeks this product was already failing. I couldn't recommend this to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed Feelings This is the first true Raingear I have purchased as historically I tended to be more of a fair weather rider. The overall water proof qualities were excellent and I appreciated the high vis colour riding in weather. What I wasn't happy about was the elastic boot strap broke my second day. Also the velcro cuffs on the jacket are HUGE. It was impossible to get them tight and very difficult to get my gloves over them. As a result I usually had water running up my arm before long. Some minor refinements would take this OK raingear and make it great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better fit than the SA-6000 I purchased this rain suit after originally ordering and receiving the AS-6000. This suit features a full mesh in the jacket plus some more robust materials in the pants to protect from hot parts on the bike. The pants were a better fit for me. A little longer in the inseam measurement. I am 5'9 and 180pounds I ordered the large and the fit over clothes including a leather bike jacket was sufficient. I watched a video on YouTube reviewing this product and the reviewer criticized the Velcro placement. On the suit I purchased the velcro was well placed. The video review was a couple years old so clearly the manufacturer adjusted the placement of the velcro and that is no longer an issue. I did, however notice a small area of Velcro at the bottom of the jacket that had come loose after trying it on the first time. I contacted Nelson-Rigg and they responded the same day advising me on either a simple repair I could do myself or they were willing to replace the jacket. I opted for the repair but thought it was fair of them to give me the option. So far I can not comment on the water resistance of the suit but I understand from reading many reviews prior to selecting this model that that has never been an issue with rain suits from this maker. And lastly. The price here was very competitive. There was no way I could have brought the same garment in from one of the online retailers down south for anywhere close to the deal I got at Fortnine.ca

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value I bought this suit (Nelson-Rigg AS-3000 Aston Rain Suit Hi-Viz Yellow M) to replace my old suit (river Road) of 8 years. This suit is heaver duty and works great. Two big downpours and I'm still dry, The only thing I would want is to have Snap Closures or Velcro on the Stirrups.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Total waist of money. Ne perdez pas votre argent Worst rain suit I've ever seen and completely overrated. This rain suit does not comply to what a biker needs. Coat: Upper front zipper is filmsy and does not close properly. Pants: Lower zippers on both sides do not work properly either. Size : You may need to order +1 size over what you normally wear. But process return w/ Canada Motorcylcle was a charm. This is why I rated +1 overall star.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible fit!! I purchased this for a motorcycle trip. I took my measurements while wearing my riding gear and used the provided sizing chart to select my size. Based on the measurements I ordered a size small. The pants were super tiny, and the jacket was huge - big enough for a bear. I am returning the product and would encourage the manufacturer and this vendor to review the sizing chart

Questions

I generally wear large. If I order large will i be able to wear my icon protective jacket underneath . Should I order extra large?

Asked by: axle
Rain suits are designed to be worn over top of your existing gear. If you usually wear a size large, this is the size to order.
