Designed for urban riding, the Nolan N70-2GT is comfortable on long journeys, weekend getaways or short commutes. Suitable for both summer and winter rides, the N70-2GT has six possible configurations which you can personalize through the addition or removal of the chin bar, face shield and small peak. When the chin bar and face shield are installed, the rider experiences the same benefits of a full face helmet. With just the peak and chin bar installed, the helmet allows air to flow, while still providing the same protection of a full face helmet. With the chin bar, face shield and peak removed it becomes a true 3/4 open face helmet.

Great choice to replace open face helmet
I have been using this helmet for 1 month and I am very pleased with the fit. Also, the large view area is extraordinary. I added the N-com 902l-r system and really appreciate the good sound.

I just love it
I was watching this model for a while now. I love to get new helmets about every two years. First few years, only half helmets. Then three years ago, I got a full face. Worst thing for my big head. Sold it, got a Scorpion, ok but not a wow factor. Bad early spring late fall. Put on the money this year and got this one. In full face mode, great view, plenty of air. On warmer days, l just take off the visor and click on the peck. I wont put it in 3/4 mode, looks weird. That is the reason no 5 stars. Noise ok for me, I just don’t bother with Bluetooth and music, just wind and the motor noise and my freaking big smile enjoying life riding.

Great helmet
Gained weight and replaced my LS Valiant, although you don't have the option of flipping the chin bar behind the detachable chin bar is a nice feature and how low it sits makes it feel like it's almost not their. Didn't think I would ever use the visor but love it what a difference on a sunny day, wouldn't own a helmet without it now. Like the option of switching the features around.

Very nice helmet but not a flip up as I thought...
Rating this as 5 stars despite having no riding experience with it and returning it for a different Nolan model. Foolishly, I assumed this was a flip up chin model as their appears to be a pivot point but that was just me not paying attention. This model is 'configurable', not flip up, so you need to decide whether you want a chin piece attached or not before heading out, something that I did not want. The helmet looks very well made, the fit was just a hair tight, as XL has been a perfect size for me in other helmets and I measure 24" around the peanut. I am ordering an N90-3 model when it is approved for return, very impressed with the apparent quality.

Great multiple configurations
Multiple configurations - Looks amazing and great ventilation. However it’s not the most quiet helmet. Installed Sena 50’s ( external mount ) cut outs present for speakers.
Very pleased and worth the price.

Great helmet but I think I got a used return.
Love the helmet. Good quality. Reasonably quiet. But when I got it, it appeared the box had been opened and there was human and pet hair inside the helmet and the box. Gross. I vacuumed it all out and kept it cause it fits well and I’m not a germaphobe. But Fortnine. You can do better. I don’t really mind a used return but check it over well before you send it to reduce the gross factor.

Love this helmet!!
I found this helmet fits my head perfectly. A large is a large....in my head shape.
The field of vision is huge! I like that the visor drops down so low, very nice when the chin bar is removed which is how I will be using this helmet most of the time. I will use the chin bar on longer rides, especially if its cooler and or wet.
I find that the noise level is lower than most of my helmets in the past 50 years. Or I am becoming deaf...
Ventilation is great.
The drop down sun visor is problematic in design. I can see that the spring loaded return will dissapoint as springs wear out. Mine did not retract at all and after calling FortNine I opted to keep my helmet just for convenience sake. They were very accomodating.

How much does a size small weigh in this helmet: Nolan N70-2 GT Lakota Helmet Item # : 775889
Nolan do not provide the weight for a size small, however they confirmed that the size medium weights in at slightly over 3 1/2 lbs, so the small would be a touch lighter than this.
