Description
The N87 is Nolan's premium full-face helmet, chock-a-block with innovative technical details. Along with two outer shell sizes, the N87 features a face shield mechanism with tilting functionality that allows a greater extension of the area covered by the Pinlock fog-resistant shield and reduces the risk of accidental opening/closing as well as air infiltration. The Clima Comfort inner liner and cheek pads, newly designed, are made with double density micro-perforated fabrics. Comfort of the highest level, thanks to the Eyewear Adaptive system (designed for eyeglass wearers) and the wide perforated wind protector. The AirBooster ventilation system keeps the rider cool and dry.
The N87 has an ultra-wide face shield, a fully adjustable VPS sunscreen with 400UV protection, a Microlock2 double lever retention system, and is set up for the Nolan N-Com communication system.

Excellent Helmet
I have had this helmet for a month and put on about 500 km and I am very happy with it. I did a lot of research about the helmet. It has won best product of the year with webBikeWorld.com, Ride Magazine best buy and MCN Best Product so I was easily convinced in purchasing the helmet.
Pros: the fit is excellent, quality of material and workmanship is impressive, the sun shade mechanism works great, ventilation is really good, c/w pin lock and extra lens, N Com ready, all components are made in the same place in Italy! exceptional buy for the price!

Quality, Best Helmet for your Money
This is my second Nolan N87 Harp Helmet and I'm not sure if Ill ever buy a $1000 helmet if Nolan is still being sold in Canada. You can't beat the quality and added bonuses that these helmets come with standard unlike other brands making you pay extra for ontop of there expensive price tag . e.g built in adjustable visor, pinlock screen, perfect recesses and removable plastics for your N-Com system also the removable foam for eye glasses wearers is a fantastic option to have in a helmet. Its just to good to pass up for $318 on sale or even the full price at $359.

Very Good, more like 4.5!!!
I had a Nolan modular before and it was outstanding. I have had Shoei, Bell and HJC helmets and I believe Nolan is far superior - in terms of build quality, features and excellent pricing. I found the noise level to be better than most. I firmly believe the solution to noise is ear protection. Don't look for a helmet to do it all. The helmet has a sunscreen. If you look around, a lot of the helmets out there are made in China. But Nolan are produced in Italy. The fit and finish are like a nice Italian suit or shoes.

Great value
There were a few features I was looking at in a full face helmet to replace my current lid. I wanted a center lift tab on the face shield, a microlock chin strap (grew to like it on another helmet in my small collection) and most importantly, a Pinlock lens. After narrowing down my choice, I read an online review of the N87, and was impressed enough to purchase the helmet. I did read the advise with respect to sizing, as it stated it seemed to fit a half size smaller than expected, but ordered the L anyway. I'm on the outside edge of L, but the helmet was too small, as suggested in the review. I reordered the XL, and have enjoyed the fit throughout my rides. The front vent is easy to operate, and provides good ventilation onto the shield. Helping with clear vision is the Pinlock lens. The lens itself does not have the Pinlock logo on it, but is produced by Nolan through a Pinlock license, but has given me no issues during my riding time. The shield has remained clear through rain and cool weather. I don't think I can go without a Pinlock anymore. The face shield has some serious detents, but can be opened with a little effort using the center tab. Won't blow off, anyway. Had a Micro lock chin strap on a 3/4 helmet, and liked the ease of both securing the strap and opening it. The fit and finish on the helmet is very good, although you can see the edges of the graphics application, though you have to look carefully for them in the light. So not a problem for me. The helmet is snug once I have it on, and comfortable to wear on longer rides. The sun shield comes down far enough and didn't create any issue with line of sight. Overall, the helmet has worked great for me, with the only issue is that it is mid November as I write this, and I've got awhile to go before I can wear it again!

Couldn't be happier!
Perfect fit. Does not fit small like others said. Really good craftsmanship. Very little wind noise. Great features. Came with pin lock anti-fog insert. Works great! Too bad Fortnine doesnt sell the comm system. I had to order the comm system from Italy.

Great helmet
I bought this helmet after doing a lot of research online. There are a lot of great helmets to choose from but I have to agree with the webbikeworld review that this is great value for the money. It's a top quality helmet at a mid range price. Comfortable liner, great fit, quality visor with pin lock and nice dark sun shield. Overall excellent build quality. Plus great service from FortNine!

Great Helmet
Just received this Nolan N87 Harp (Yellow), purchased after extensive research. Still to ride in it but out of the box the helmet is everything I expected. Fit is excellent (Large, snug same as previous helmets), product quality is great and features work as described in product literature. Capability of modifying cheek pads for eye glasses, but mine fit with no mods...great. The sun visor really cuts down on light transmission and is easy to operate. Likewise main visor, with included Pinlock shield, which was easy to install (thought it came ready installed, but no problem). I love the Microlock chin strap - far better than double D rings in my opinion.
Vision is excellent due to really wide aperture
I don't use comm systems but helmet is ready for a Nolan system.
Some reviews mention high noise levels so I will see if this is correct when I get out on the road :)

Tres bon casque pour le prix.
J'ai acheté ce casque pour remplacer mon Bell Star 2008. Il est presqu'aussi léger que mon Bell mais beaucoup moins bruyant. La ventilation manque un peu à 30 degrés celcius mais la possibilité de rouler avec la visière ouverte tout en ayant l'écran solaire baissé comblé pour le tout. Aussi, la qualité de l'écran solaire est impressionnante. Plus besoin de lunettes solaires! La visibilité est très large et j'ai hâte de pouvoir tester le pinlock. Mon Bell était de grandeur large et cest pareil pour le Nolan.

I've got head measurement at 60cm . What helmet size would you recommend ?
Im 57cm and got a medium but could have gone smaller. Large will probably be better for you and if not snug, get the medium insert padding.

Does a Cardo freecom 1 to 4 until fit on the side?
Between the sticky and clamp mount, you should be able to fit any current Cardo model on any helmet.
