They do not replace your handlebar mounts, they adapt to your stock 7/8" handlebar mounts to oversized 1-1/8" handlebar mounts

Fit and Finish are Top Notch
A great quality product that doesn't significantly raise your bars. They provide a solid fit to your bike with perfect fitment and good looks. Totally happy with these bar mounts that convert my 7/8 to 1 & 1/8.

Added height and fit better bars
I bought ProTaper bars to replace the factory bars. I needed an adapter to fit the larger size. The added benefit was a bit more height with these mounts.
Easy to install, good design and not dreadfully expensive.
