Works well as a replacement
I thought I'd already reviewed this, but I guess I hadn't. This was a plug-and-play replacement for an old analog (knob) heater installed by the dealer back in 2007. I much prefer this. The only challenge was where to locate it - the previous had been strapped to the bar. I re-routed to velcro this to the brake master cylinder.

Perfect replacement - location had to change tho
My old analog (knob-resistor) controller had begun its transition to the electronic otherworld, so I bought this. Perfect plug-and-play. The only issue I had was where to put the controller: the old one was zap-strapped to the bar; the replacement has a flat bottom. The solution: some adhesive velcro bits from the dollar store, and it fits on top of the brake fluid lid, but can be removed to access the brake fluid reservoir screws.
I've just returned from a gruelling trip through NFLD/Labrador in mid-September, where it rained every. single. day. I definitely needed the heaters on during single-digit-and-dropping-while-raining-in-the-middle-of-nowhere legs that lasted as long as 400km between fuel.
Utterly no complaints, and certainly made the journey palatable.

Old Grip controller wasn't working this fixed the problem, less than 1/2 the price of new grips.

Works to control temperature of Moose seat heater
After asking for opinions from Oxford, Moose Industries and FortNine and receiving essentially "won't touch it" answers, I still felt there was an excellent chance that the grip heat controller would regulate the seat heater element and ithe gamble has paid off because it works like a charm. I already had the OFV8 on the left handlebar controlling the grip heaters, so knew it was a good product and hasn't let me down for a few years now, so I now have another one on the right handlebar for the seat heater. I was quite disappointed that the experts refused to comment, probably just protecting their jobs... what a world!

Easy install. Works great!
I bought this to replace a worn out controller. Direct replacement that was easy to do! Works flawlessly. It’s so nice to have heated grips for the chilly early riding season.

Questions
Can this be used with the OF694 Over grips instead of the ON-OFF switch?
Yes!, That's exactly what I did....you can use the connectors as they are, you will only use one of the two outputs but no cutting etc.
I removed all excess connectors etc. so it's neater but that's me....

I have an older model of Oxford grips which have a 3 button controller (+, -, and on/off). The buttons don't work any more due to corrosion in the switches. Is this 2-button controller a plug and play replacement for the 3 button controller?
the controller comes with the 2 pin quick connects, so as long as your old set of grips have the similar connector they are

Will this controller work be a suitable replacement for the old model, the one with the on/off switch?
Short Answer "Ues" I bought this and used exciting connectors to put it in line with the switch. I use velcro to strap it all down safety etc. If you are comfortable with spicing ect then you can eliminate the switch and just use this.
