It works
Great product.easy to install. I use it during the early season when it is -5 degree Celsius outside.
When I park in open I cover both grips with plastic cover. I disconnect the circuit to prevent any mischief.

well worth the purchase
This item was well worth the purchase. It was like day and night when it came to riding in cold conditions. Very easy to install (Installed in under 10mins). Material is of cheap quality and falls apart easily. Has no heat control (therefore - better keep those glove on or your hands will start to burn).

Very nice solution...
Just what I was looking for! I like to keep my little bike stock and those are very easy to install and remove. They get quite hot and you need to have winter or thick leather gloves on or they start to get uncomfortable. As reviewers said before, they only have a on/off setting no heat regulator. I figure, it would be quite easy to fit a potentiometer, though. They are great to take the cold off, though and I don't mind switching on and off. All in all they are a simple, effective solution for warm hands foor people who don't like to modify their bikes.

Great if you have cold hands .
Easy to install , but they should either have less wattage or a hi /lo setting . I am in the Yukon and riding in 2 to 5 degree weather and have to constantly turn them on and off because they are so hot .

Hot hot hot!
Installed them last month on my F6B.... they are an on / off product as they get very hot~ and they fatten up your grip diameter as well, which I wanted. Def wear gloves and if my ST 1300 set any example they will be amazing during the shoulder season and rain soaked rides... now just sell a three level switch as a stand alone accessory!

Works great
Easy to install and remove. Nice and warm and not too bulky. Took only a couple of minutes to get used to them. Sometimes in stop and go traffic they get a little bit warm but just shut them off for a couple minutes.

Found a way to install them on a Vespa!
Bought them a while back to mount on my S50, I just couldn't find a way to install this kit that would make me happy, plus I was a bit worried the stator would not give enough "juice".
Got my motorcycle licence, bought a Vespa Gts 250ie, and finally got to work. Taking apart the front fairing on a Vespa is a bit of an adventure, so waited to have more than one gadget to install (added a super loud air horn at the same time). Wiring was simple, but to mount the on/off switch box was simply impossible without drilling the fairing. So I removed the switch from the box and mounted it on the left "knee pad". Warranty is screwed for sure, but it works great.
One thing though, they get VERY hot quickly, so I turn them on/off often.

Questions
this product goes over the existing handle bar grips, right? will this fit the grips of the 2019 Honda Rebel 500 ABS bike? please advise. thank you
Yes they go over existing grips. And this is a universal item for 7/8" handlebar grips only. No specific bike fitments.

What is the amp draw? I ride a scooter and power isn't part of the equation and I don't mind turning the grips off at trafic lights. Just need to know if these grips can be used on my ride. Thanks
According to the info I have, the wraps give 18 Watts each so that on a 12 volt system, the draw should be approximately 3 amps (1.5 amps per wrap). Hope this helps
