Seems like an obvious detail to have in the description, what's the diameter of the mirror?
The above bar mirrors have a 74mm diameter and the below mirror has a 70 mm diameter.

can you remove the expander on the end so it’s just a threaded bolt to install in a threaded bar end?
After verifying with the manufacturer, no, they do not advise removing this part.
