Note: The majority of bikes have pre-threaded holes in their swingarms to fit bobbins (consult your bike manufacturer for the bolt and thread size required for your bike). Some bikes have uneven swingarms, making the use of bobbins the only way to safely fit a rear paddock stand.

Spool for V-Strom swingarm lift
So the factory V-Strom rear swingarm is fitted with 2 bosses threaded for M8 thread pitched 1.25. Works great. I added a couple washers to protect swingarm finish. Bike is resting on a paddock stand and is very solid.

Easy Peasy !!
Bought these for my 2020 versys 650. I checked out the thread size, ordered them, Fortnine service was excellent as usual. They fit perfectly. Installed in 10 mins (or less!!). Much cheaper that oem spools and do the job just fine !!

You will need to measure the Axle bolt and check the size of the threads before ordering. Your bike may be 6/8/10 mm depending on the Axle. To guarantee fitment please make sure you order the correct size.

Can those blue center pieces be removed and what are they just plugs for the bolt heads?
The blue you see there is a removable protective film that they used for the photos. The actual item does not include that film, the center part is metallic in color.
