                  Description

The Oxford OA Jeggings is more than approved, thanks to the performant denim built specifically for life on two wheels, from new yarn and fibre technologies to new finishes and dying techniques.

They feature Armourlite™ super stretch - a durable, lightweight and soft bi-composite denim with a vintage look. To do this, Oxford worked with skilled weavers and warpers to include a polyamide fibre into the weave - a hard-wearing material originally developed by the military for parachute cords. These jeggings include great abrasion resistance and CE level 2 knee protectors, plus CE level 2 hip protectors. A two-way stretch was added to enhance mobility and comfort, including also a quick dry technology which draws sweat and increases water repellency.

                  Features:

                  • AA rated CE approved jeggings
                  • Flexible level 2 CE Knee and Hip protectors
                  • Lightweight, single layer

                  • Riveted pockets

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Option for the Women! I like these jeggings a lot! I almost bought Oxford's Super Leggings 2.0 but I do prefer to ride in a jean-style pant. The sizing chart that Oxford provides is fairly accurate, however I sized down 1 size after hearing from other reviews that the material is very stretchy and will appear ill-fitting if you buy your regular size. I agree with this. I am normally a size 10 in jeans but I bought these is a US 8 (Fortnine has the sizes listed in Oxford's UK sizing, so I actually ordered a size 12, make sure you read the sizing chart accurately. I cross-referenced with Revzilla as well). They fit perfectly. Snug around the waist and thighs (I am definitely curvy, 156LBS) and the regular length was perfect for me at 5'5" with a 28 inch inseam. They are almost a little short so I would consider ordering the the tall option for the extra length if you wear short sneaker-style shoes (I wear half-calf length boots so them being a little short is okay with me, it makes them easier to tuck into the boots). My main quarrel with these pants is the quality of the zipper. It seems flimsy and worse than my everyday jeans. I don't see it holding up long before it breaks. But I will simply replace it with one a little stronger. My belly pushes on it and it will only be worse when riding regularly. The full aramid lining of the pants make them quite heavy, but they still breathe decently well. I chose these pants mostly for the fact that they were fully lined with aramid, instead of only being reinforced around the knees and hips. Oxford is leading the game as far as protection goes. I trust that these will save me in a 70km/h slide, as Oxford claims. ******** The listing on Fortnine claims that this product only ships with the CE level 2 knee protectors from Oxford, and that the hip protectors are sold separately. But my jeggings came with a Oxford carrying pouch which contained both CE level 2 hip and knee protectors. I was thrilled about this, as I had placed an order for Revit's Seesmart RV33 hip protectors along with these jeggings. I do not know if this was an error on Fortnine's part, maybe they threw the wrong pouch in with the jeggings, but I am thankful either way. I am still going to keep Revit's hip protectors though, because although they are only CE level 1 rated, they are much smaller and more breathable than Oxford's. They both fit perfectly in the hip pockets in the jeggings, so I will use Revit's on very warm days when I need some more airflow. Oxford's hip protectors do make your hips look wider, so it will make it harder to do up a jacket if your jacket fits snug around the waist and hips. My black Alpinestars Eloise Air jacket fits snug with the protectors, but I don't feel that it hinders my mobility at all. The hip and knee protectors from Oxford are flexible, fit great in the jeggings, and don't make the jeggings look overly bulky or awkward considering how tight the jeggings fit. Overall, I am super thrilled with Oxford's Super Jeggings 2.0 right now, and I look forward to seeing how they perform all summer. Another thing I would note is that these jeggings are only dyed black and will fade over time, as Oxford claims in the care instructions. I am going to try my best to be extra careful with washing these, as I hate nothing more than black jeans that fade to grey, and look weird against my all-black gear. However, I do not think it is avoidable, because there are simply no slim/skinny fit riding jeans available for women out there! At least not that are made of a true black denim. Most are sold out, have negative reviews, or cost an am and a leg, and even more to ship to Canada. So either way, thank you Oxford for making this great option for women riders! We appreciate you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from (Very) High Waisted Armoured Jeans I bought these as an upgrade to my "thicker than most" fashion jeans. They came with hip protectors and knee protectors that do a decent job of staying in place and offering some peace of mind. I ordered size 20. These are very high-waisted jeans that will sit above your stomach and below your chest, like "mom jeans" but for riding a hog. I don't mind the cut, since it means more dual-layered fabric covering my lower back and hips, but it might not be for everyone. Despite the dual-layers, it's not too warm during the dog days of summer, and the two-type fabric certainly helps wick moisture away. The inner black layer protects your hands and legs from the traditional colour bleeding of new blue jeans. Other than that, it was true to size, with a caveat: know your measurements! Don't go off of fashion sizing for these, and get a fabric tape measure. My waist measures around 37.5" inches (I'm 5'11"), so I ordered a size 20 (38.5") and it fit about as well as I expected. The chart they provide does seem accurate, assuming you know your measurements. My tip is to wear them with a non-metal belt and even some non-metal belt-loop suspenders to keep them firmly in place and secure during a potential wipe-out, so you're not having to adjust them too often when riding if you're in-between sizes like me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally found the one! I just bought these jeans and boy did I finally found the one. As a short girl motorcyclist I think we can all agree that it is so difficult to find a good pair of motorcycle approved jeans that not only fits but are comfortable and stylish. These are it. They stretch to my body type which is not skinny and they fit like a regular pair of American eagle jeans. The only reason I put a four star is because the hip protectors are not stylish at all and make my hips bulge. So unfortunately I can't ride with those. But the knee pads are great. The question about these jeans will be about protection which I hope I never have to find out and durability. I am 5 ft 2 inch and 148 lbs. I bought short size 12 UK which is a 8 US. This is my regular size jeans so these jeans fit just right. I have a 28 inch seam (very short legs) and they are just right below my ankles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these! I purchased these because I prefer to ride in jeans and I wanted to see if I could find a skinny-fit riding jean that felt more durable than the riding “jeggings” I’ve been wearing. These fit the bill! They are fully lined and feel sturdy, and I was impressed that they came with both knee and hip protectors. They’re not as high of a rise as I hoped, but my everyday jeans are ribcage rise so if you are used to normal rise jeans, these will feel high (not in a bad way!). I’m usually a size 29-30/10 in jeans. My measurements were a size 14UK, but I followed the advice of ordering a size down and got a 12UK and they fit perfectly. Note: they do run short. I’m 5’3” and got regular length and they’re JUST long enough. Definitely go for the tall length if you have long legs or are taller than me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but not like photo Super comfortable. High waist. Stretchy. They only issue is they don't look like the photos in that they don't look like jeans that have a light distressed look but come just as very dark blue pants. Maybe that will change after a few washes. All in all though very happy with them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy but sizing a little awkward Overall happy with this purchase. They're comfy enough. I would say they're not as flattering as I'd hoped but the sizing was roughly good. I chose a size 12 and am 5'6" and 160lbs. I don't find them super hard to put on but then they do tend to sag a bit more around the bum so maybe I should have gone a size smaller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not too heavy or stiff I bought these for a long roadtrip (24 days) knowing that we were going to have lots of variable weather. These jeans are comfortable enough to wear all day and are light enough in hot weather. For the cooler days, I wore them with my base layer underneath. I'm glad I had these for my trip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Belle qualité J'ai acheté ce pantalon en suivant la charte des tailles, mais il était trop petit. Retour avec frais, ce que je n'avais pas remarqué. Le retour s'est fait facilement.

does this item come with the hip protector? or will i need to purchase them separately

What's the inseam on these pants?

                  Asked by: idk123

In the sizing, if it doesn’t mention short - it is assumed sizing is regular ( length being 32 ? )

                  Asked by: Mellie
Yes, if they don't say short then they are regular length (32).
