Very short life
I put the first one in my CBF1000A 3 years ago and it went dead at 11 months and wouldn't take a charge. It was replace under warranty and this one has lasted 16 months and died while riding with no symptoms before. Both have been on bettery tenders during the winder and are in an un heated garage attached to the house so never gets much below 0C. Would not recommend buying another one.

Great, But Not a Perfect Fit
The battery came charged and started up my FZ8 in one try. Comes with screws and bolts as well to secure the cables. My one complaint is that it is the same model number as OEM calls for (in a 2012 Yamaha FZ8) and yet the - and + are reversed. The only way I was able to get it installed was to stretch out my positive cable to it's absolute max reach. Flipping the battery around isn't an option as it's too far for the neutral wire.

Does not last
I bought and installed this battery in Sept 2020. It is now Nov 2022. Winters, the battery is on a tender. After just 2 seasons, it is now dead and won't hold a charge. That is far too short a life span when proper maintenance was observed.

Lasted 13 months
I rode to a site seeing in English Bay, Vancouver today. It took me there but not be able to back. The bike was suddenly unable to start after I checked the parking rates. I tried to push start, but nothing. Some samaritan helped me jump start but the bike did not keep running after removing the jumpers. I checked all the fuses ok. I ended up having to have the bike towed home.
The problem was the battery negative post. It was loose and not in contact with the battery—what a joke. Just happened exactly 13 months after I bought the battery. At least I am not going to put my luck on buying another same battery.
Luckily, It was a sunny beautiful Sunday. I spent a few hours enjoying the beautiful screen while I was waiting for the towing truck.

Poor quality that just doesn't last
3 batteries in 4 years and number 3 is toast!
First one was dead after 2 years. Always on the tender throughout the winter (off the bike and in a heated garage, on the bench). It seams to run well for the first month then depletes fast and my bike cannot seem to charge it after even an hour or steady riding. (Yes, I've checked my charging system and it is fine). Took it to get tested and was told "battery is toast".
Second one, the positive post fell off!!! From inside the casing! There goes that one! One year that lasted. (Inline 4 cylinder honda, smooth engine!)
Third one, again no longer holding a charge after one year..... im sure if I get it tested, which I will, it will fail the load test.
Bottom line, parts unlimited has got its last dollar from me WRT batteries and I'd advise you to listen to my advice. Do your research and buy a better quality battery. Nothing worse than being MILES from home and stranded!
