I bought this a month ago for a 1992 gsxr 750 the mounting plate to the tank is not the same bolt pattern. I had to fabricate one but other than that a quality product.

Do I have to mess with jetting or anything else?
If all you are doing is replacing the fuel petcock then "no" you will not have to change any other settings on the bike.
