          Description

Pirelli debuted the new Angel GT Tires on Basque soil in Bilbao, Spain accompanying the newest edition of the Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo. The new Angel GT Sport Touring tire will be standard equipment on the latest version of the Borgo Panigale model.

The Angel GT boasts 15 percent more mileage than the Pirelli Angel ST without sacrificing performance. Pirelli has labeled this as "Performance Mileage." The primary design was to provide regular wear and excellent water drainage guaranteed by both the front tires and by the new groove design on the rear. Pirelli is using a dual blend compound that allows for high mileage in the center with a higher percentage of silica on the sides offering maximum performance, even in wet conditions.

In the end, the Pirelli Angel GT is a great option for long distance riders with a fully loaded bike, or for those who are looking to optimize performance on their short daily getaways. From sport bikes to touring and everything in between the Angel GT will not disappoint.

          Features:

          • (W)-rated for speeds of 168+ mph (270+ km/h)
          • Ideal for sport riders looking for increased mileage without sacrificing grip and traction
          • Extended Mileage Sport (EMS) tires provide best-in-class for mileage and grip
          • Rear tires feature new Bi-compound formula improves cornering traction
          • A Spec rear tires feature a reinforced, 2-ply carcass
          • Improved wet grip
          • Tubeless

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic tire I bought a set of these last season and after about 12000km of usage the rear is done. I know some people think this isn't great but the way I ride a hayabusa it's amazing. The tire sticks to the road and handles even two up riding at ridiculous speeds. One up, two up, track days... throw what you will at it and you won't be dissapointed. The one thing compared to the original bt 15 bridgestones or any sport tire is it does ride a bit rougher but that's to be expected. I'm writing this from the local bike shop waiting room where I am having my second set put on. I just can't say enough good things about them. BTW this was not the A spec tire and when you hit the wear bar yer done, change fast because the next ride you are at canvas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my 4th set of Pirelli angel tires. The GT's last me about 12,000kms. Grip and wear are great IMO. I don't track but I get a knee down and these tires always feel confident. Best price was here on Canada's Motorcycles even after I got them installed & balanced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sensational tires I selected Pirelli Angel GTsfor my 2005 BMW K1200S after reviewing every other tire, and I am smitten. After a weekend twisty ride from Vancouver to Gold River on the west coast of Vancouver Island in partial rain, I can say that these tires grip, respond and inspire confidence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tire, what a difference. Baught this tire about a month ago and immediately noticed a difference on the drive home from changing them. I am 10x more confident going into corners with these tires. They feel like they wanna stick to the road no matter the angle. Haven't driven in wet weather yet so can't speak to that aspect. But overall great tire and worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tire has good life, even for a tire shredding busa Have about 2000-3000 km on the tire, gt logo was but a ghost after the first 1000 km. Visible wear from new. Those comments may seem negative, but they should be taken as a positive. As I am able to push harder without fear of loosing traction (1/4" chicken strips).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great handling through lots of conditions. Got through three seasons on the prairies, about 20000 km. They are knackered now, with the flatland stripe down the middle. Front still has some life left in it but they will be retired. I have run them April to November, hot and cold and through intense wet weather. They have always been confidence inspiring. I've taken a few long trips (4k-6k km) loaded with top case and camping gear and they held up great under load.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this tire Just finished a trip from Canada to Baja, looked at a lot of tires, could not be happier with my choice. Put a 190/55 a spec on my sv1000, I'm a 180lbs with 40 to 50lbs of gear loaded, the a spec felt great, super stable and never slipped out from full lean on the California coast to the rougher stuff in Mexico. Quick turn in, felt planted and confident right from the start, everything I would expect from a sport tire in a touring tire. As for mileage, I did 12,000km in 18 days, 4,000 was mostly corners in B.C and Cali, then another 8,000 of mind numbing straight in Mexico and Nevada etc. a lot of which was chip sealed and temps reaching 51celcius. Figure there is still another 2,000 and could push 3,000km if I was desperate. Would almost consider putting them on my 1098 but think they would fall just a bit short, they are that good a tire. If you are doing a longer trip but still want to be able to go balls to the wall then this is the tire. Did not get a chance to try these in the rain though.

          Questions

I have a 2014 Hayabusa, what tire would I use, the A spec or the D?

          Asked by: Gunian
Hi, Gunian The "A Spec" has a two layer structure for better stability The "D Spec" tire is the OEM equipment on the new Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo ~Emily, Customer Service, Canada's Motorcycle

I understand the A spec version of this tire has the 2 layer structure but I can't seem to find any info on what separates the other two variants.. what is the difference between the plain angel gt and the angel gt d spec?

          Asked by: just_luv
I wouldn't be able to answer this question therefore I had the Angel GT on my sport touring and they were by far the best tires I've used, excellent grip, excellent on water and they were wearing evenly, compare to other tires that become squre after 10 , 11K. Also those tires are stunning, they show high quality détails and they are made in Germany! Hope this help!

I've put 3 sets of these on my ST1300 and can honestly say that they provide great performance and longevity.

Is the rim included in the given price? Thanks.

          Asked by: esquivelalex
No, this site is selling you a new “tire” only. Unless you’ve damaged the wheel in some way, you would not normally need to replace it.
