Great Street/Gravel Comprimise Tire
I've run a pair of these on my Versys 650 for 10,000 km. They stick well on pavement, even in the rain. A little buzzy on the hwy. The rear hooks up great on gravel roads and logging roads, with predictable drift when you want it. The front does as well as expected in gravel for a 17". Don't expect performance in mud. The rear lasted 10k. The front should last 16k.

Stellar on & off-road, wet or dry, short life.
I have worn these out on my 2016 FJ-09 and ride in the southern BC. We have very few 'straight' roads and summers are 30+°C. The MT 60 are very sticky and I rode them fast on pavement keeping up with my buddies on sport bikes (much better riders than I am). On forest service roads my crew couldn't keep up to me. For gravel roads and two track trails the MT60 are stellar, and for the few times I road in the rain they were solid performers.
The wind noise on my FJ-09 is loud so I can't speak to the road noise. I got roughly 8000 km out of the back tire but should have changed it out at 7K. The front tire is so far down I'll replace it as well.

One tire to rule them all!
I bought a set of these to do hwy miles and then do cottage dirt roads. These excel at both. Just amazing!

Decent On Gravel but Great On Pavement
These tires can handle your basic well maintained forestry road no problem. Theyre not so great on wet grass, mud or loose gravel. They do handle great on the pavement, even in wet conditions and they wear fairly well. Rear was pretty squared off by about 10k but still had tread.
4 stars cause they're fairly pricey when you can get comparible tires that last longer for less.

Great tires!
I’m on my third set of these and I really like them, Great in the wet. I am getting 12000-15000km on the rear and a few thousand more on the front.
No complaints other than 12000km life expectancy

finally a tire that inspires confidence!
I have a 2013 ktm 990 SMT which came with some Continental sport/street tires on it. From my home, I unfortunately have to ride on a little over a 1/4 mile of gravel to ride on in order to get to the pavement and the Continentals skittered and twitched all over the place even with 32 psi in them and honestly they didn't feel all that great on pavement either as I had felt the rear sliding out of corners with even moderate throttle application on quite a few occassions previously. It was time to replace the rear tire and I wanted a tire that would allow me to explore a little bit off pavement and please keep in mind I have no expectations of wanting to thrash this beautiful bike off road like it was a dirt bike or anything but wanted a set of tires that can deal with some dirt or gravel once in a while when asked and to feel secure on wet pavement. Well, after researching a bit and reading some other reviews elsewhere it seemed that these Pirelli MT60RS tires which come as standard tires on the Ducatti Scramble might actually do what I was hoping them to do! I have only ridden my bike a few times since putting the MT60RS tires on (approx 300 km so far) but I can honestly say I am very impressed so far. On my last ride I ended up riding approx 8 - 10 miles of gravel road to get up to the Ridge reservoir and back to pavement which was a mix of packed and loose gravel sections and these tires just felt planted in comparison to what the bike previously came with. I even tested on some corners on pavement with gravel/sand and tested them while cornering to see if the tread pattern and compound could deal with that and they did that quite well there too! On pavement they feel like they are sticky right away without purposefully trying to warm them up and the slight hint of vibration the tread pattern provides when on the road provides the perfect feedback IMO. I like feeling connected. The only complaints I have read from other people regarding the MT60RS tires are that they say the rear tire has a short life expectancy which I honestly do not care about one bit as I wanted a tire that bites and provides confidence and that is exactly what these MT60RS appear to do so far!

Looks are deceiving
When I purchased a 2012 Honda NC700x on April 20th in Ontario, Canada it happened to be cold and with a lite wet snow. The bike had this front tire on it, well worn and 6 years old. I test rode the bike being mindful of the wet conditions and it did good enough. After making the deal, I only had a few KM ride home. The tire did very well with low thread, so much so that I replaced it with a fresh one from here and it arrived super quick. When I opened the bag I was somewhat disappointed in the tread depth of the brand new tire. Well….after todays ride through some real adventure conditions, gravel, sand, loose dirt, lite mud patches it did amazing. I ride on the hard side and have the bike loaded with a topbox and hard saddlebags. It does very nicely on the road. I can’t comment on wear length yet but so far it’s doing its job very well.

Questions
Will this fit on a 17x6 rim?
Hi, I'm mounted the 160 on a 17x5 and it works great.
On a 17x6 personally I would go with the 180
