Tread

The supersoft SmartEVO DH compound is combined with large knobs to optimize the grip on all types of terrain without compromising the overall stability of the tire thanks to a stiffer base compound. The central section of the tire features special knobs that increase traction in every phase of the rotation. The central knob is also pre-shaped in order to be cut for a better mud evacuation in intermediate conditions, especially for the front wheel use.

The SmartEVO DH Compound is the enduro and downhill racing specific formulation, born in the Pirelli motorsport compounding department thanks to the multi-year experience in the motocross and rally World Championships. Structure

DualWALL+ is the special structure dedicated to downhill and enduro racing. It is composed of a 60 TPI full double-ply carcass together with a rubber insert in the bead area and an additional layer of fabric which stabilizes the sidewall of the tire. Thanks to the experience of Pirelli factory riders, they developed their most reliable carcass which provides support under high loads and in fast corners. DualWALL+ is the choice of the most demanding riders, with the most aggressive riding style.
