I definitely recommend.
Out of the package, the skid plate was more robust than I was expecting. It was finished nicely with no sharp edges and it fit perfectly. Installation was easy, it looks great and provides a ton of protection. The linkage protection is definitely a bonus. I haven’t ridden in any extreme mud conditions yet so I can’t speak to how much mud it will hold but the quick release will make cleaning a breeze when necessary.
A skidplate is a must have item for riding in the woods and this one is great.

Pretty slick skid plate
I changed out my aluminum skid plate for this plastic one and I will not go back to aluminum. I watched my buddy with a plastic skid plate go over log and then I went over the same log I stopped dead in my tracks went out with my new plastic skid plate slid right over that same log. The plastic plate is a little tricky to mount, but once you get it works very well.

Light and Effective
I have converted to non metal skid plates because they are lighter and quiter. For the price, this provides good protection and is fairly simple to remove for oil changes. It fits perfectly on my KTM 250 EXC-F. Holding back 1 star because the install is a little finicky (super easy to remove but not as easy to install) and not as protective as say an AXP skid plate.
