Progressive 12 Series shocks
They look like they will do the job, though have yet to try them out. Not impressed with cheap plastic hoods. Easy to assemble and adjust.

Good value for $$$
Needed to purchase the compatible springs, then install the springs, a bit of a pain, however now that they are installed happiness ensues. Replaced 20 yr old shocks on my 40 yr old bike. Fit for the ‘81 CB900F was spot on. Plug and play, really. Good price and fast shipping. One star lost for installation as the springs needed specialty equipment to put on. Installation on the bike Once the springs were attached was dirt simple. Included shims and washers were a help.

great replacements
Purchased these to replace the made in china shocks that came with my basket case 1975 CB750. These are much more firm even on the softest setting, which is awesome! The progressive-wound springs are great for soaking up the little bumps.

Great upgrade
Swapped these in place of the old air shocks, huge improvement in ride quality. I went with the heavy duty springs as many suggested if the rider is 200lb plus. I'm 210lb and I have to run them at the lowest setting on the daily. Haven't tried them with a passenger yet, over all very happy so far

very good quality appearance
I ordered the shock units without springs and re-used the original springs from the old OEM shocks to maintain the spring rate and appearance. On this bike I was able to do that because the springs from Progressive are the same length as the OEM springs. Not sure if this is coincidence or intentional but I saved a few bucks!

These shocks are vehicle specific, so the length of the shocks will vary depending on the vehicle it is for. The shocks come in lengths varying from 11.5 inch to 14.25 inch
