I bought the 444 13 inch heavy duty Progressives and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase, I was very impressed with the speed I received them in the mail, and how good they work. My wife and I combined weight are about 550 lbs and the old shocks I had kept bottoming out and the ride was terrible. After I bought the 444 heavy duty 13 inch progressives it was like night and day in the smoothness of the ride, my wife and I are very happy with these shocks, I would highly recommend them to anyone. I own a 07 Harley Davidson Road King classic...

$$$ well spent!
Put the HD version of these shocks on my 09 VRSCDX. I ride with a passenger quite a bit and with the stock shocks the bike would bottom out quite often even in the stiffest settings and even little bumps would hurt the back. After installing the 444 HDs it was a day and night difference. No more bottoming, easy adjustability, and smooth on the little stuff. Thank you Progressive Suspension!!!

shocks upgrade
Shocks look great, more responsive to large and small bumps without bottoming, easily hand adjustable for 2 up, weigh much less than stock shocks. Also upgraded to Grade 8 hardware for install to get extra clearance to prevent binding.

444 Shocks for Road King
Put these on my 1996 Road King. Big change in handling, stiffer ride but increased stability and handling.
Better loaded and 2 up as well. No regrets adding these to my bike, now the way it should have been from factory.
Paired these with monotubes for the front forks, totally different bike now, holds a solid line in turns, better under breaking etc.
worth the money to make the switch.

Good value
I bought these for my fxdf. After riding them for two months I can say that they definitely exceed the performance of stock harley shocks. They do an exceptions jobs on roads with small variations that would otherwise rattle you around. They do a moderate job over large potholes.

upgrade over stock
before installing i always felt the back end of the bike was more harsh than the front. now it is the other way round. smaller bumps not a big difference but bigger bumps are significantly less jarring

Will a 12 inch 444 progressive shock make my street glide lower than a stock 12 inch harley shock?
Progressive Suspension states that their 444 shocks sag 1" when you sit on them, so they would be very close to the factory shocks when you sit on them.

I have a 2018 indian scout bobber abs. I weight close to 285 lbs ,what lenght should I order? Should I choose heavy duty?
The 444 Series shocks are available in 3 configurations: Standard (Up to 250 lbs.), Heavy-duty (250+ lbs.) and Super Heavy Duty (Touring Models only - 350+ lbs.). In your case, the Heavy-duty will work fine. But if you are going to have passengers the Super Heavy Duty would be the best option.
