Progressive Suspension Fork Lowering Kit
$45.99 - $269.99
Progressive Suspension Fork Lowering Kit Item # 148761

Description
Features:
- Progressive rate fork springs soak up small bumps yet are firm enough to absorb the larger ones
- Rates of the progressively wound springs have been designed to fit each model
- Spring rates have been chosen to reduce front end dive under braking
- Gives the cruiser a low custom look when combined with a shorter than stock rear shock
- An easy and inexpensive way to drop the front end one or two inches
- Progressively-wound fork springs, spacers, and lowering components
- Kit works with 41mm Showa forks
- Made in the USA
**NOTE: Installing a lowering kit will decrease initial ground clearance. The motorcycle will be lower to the ground and care should be taken to avoid bottoming, especially over bumps or in turns. To maintain proper balanced geometry, Progressive recommends lowering the motorcycle in the rear the same amount as the front.

Great kit.
This kit is better than the drop in springs. I have a 21 inch front wheel non standard and needed to level out the bike by dropping the front 2 inches. This kit is more versatile if you have the skill to do your own work. Used the bellray oil and am very happy with the result.

What is the difference e between the 2 lowering kits 1561 and 2003. They both say they fit my bike but I want to make sure. It is 2008 Harley FLHTP. I purchased the 1561.
The 10-1561 is the regular lowering kit, as to where the 10-2003 is a 'drop-in' lowering kit. The main difference is that a drop-in kit takes less time to install than a regular lowering kit.
