Like a new bike
I put the Progressive from suspension on my GL 1800 along with the All Balls tapered steering head bearings and added the super brace to the front forks. The handling is now solid on my wing, there is no front end wobble at any speed and high and low speed handling is greatly improved

Money well spent
Just installed this kit today. Installation was a no brainer. Very easy. It is a bit tricky to fill the tube with oil though but with patience and care, it went okay.
The ride has improved drastically. I must confess that I've installed this on a second hand machine (XL883L 2006) which suffered from proper maintenance. The front end seriously needed service but still, after installing the kit., I took a ride and I was impressed. Excellent control on front dive with strong braking. Shallows the little bumps and pavement cracks like is they don't exist. Much less tendency to darting in corners at higher speeds then before. Tremendous improvement compared to the stock setup.
Please note that my ride is a "low" version but I've installed the "standard" version into the fork tube with no issue at all. As a consequence, the front end raised by about 1 in which is the desired effect I was looking for.

Huge improvement
I bought these in early spring to upgrade the forks on my 2007 HD Softail Custom before the season hit.
The difference between these and the factory set up is like night and day. Handles bumps with no problems at all, corners far better than previously and no nose dive!
I can't attest to the lifespan or durability as I have only put a few hundred Miles on them but time will tell the tale.

Great improvement vs stock suspension
The installation was a bit intimidating but it went well. Don't forget to order a new seal and bushing kit to install with the new suspension. There was a major improvement over the stock suspension. When I first sat on the bike I though the new suspension was locked or binding. Closer inspection showed it was working fine, the stock suspension was way too soft. Riding was muck improved.

Great bang for your buck
These are a HUGE step up from the stock suspension, and a large step up from the Progressive springs and heavier oil that I was already running. They don't quite sync up with the characteristics of the rear suspension I have, they're a little less aggressive and more cushy – which is about what you'd expect. I currently run Öhlins HD141 on the rear of my sportster, and clip on bars so there's a lot of weight on my hands. I ride fast but not crazy. I wasn't able to find the Öhlins fork inserts in time for this season to kick off and I didn't want to wait so I grabbed these. They're a great step in the right direction and for a less-to-medium aggressive rider they will be perfect. No more abuse of your wrists over hard bumps, no more wallowing through corners and praying you'll make it.

Best Upgrade so far
Put the Kit for a Sportster 72 in my 2019 Iron 1200. Called the dealership to make sure that fork tubes were the same length and these fit no problem.
Amazing upgrade. Got much better handling than stock, more fork travel and 3" of rise.
Added Drag Specialty 12.5 adjustable shocks in the rear and bike is now high and tight. Way better look, feel and much more clearance for cornering than stock.

Progressive's.......Fi
Wish I'd done this a few years ago. Stock front end suspension was always bottoming out on driveways and speed bump. No longer. Stabilizes front end at speed and for cornering too.

Is there anything else required to do this complete project or is all included in the kit. Have a 2005 HD FLHCTI
Yes, fork oil. It doesn't matter what viscosity, the oil only lubes parts, does not dampen.
5oz per side, I think. Read instructions.
