Cable specific product. Always advisable.
Seems like a good product. Time will tell. Always advisable to use a cable specific lube, keeping in mind that products such as WD40 are solvent based and not recommended for such a purpose. Take your time with the lubing aid gizmo, otherwise more lube will find its way outside the cable than in it…slow and patient gets the job done. Good value here though in the kit.

Tool is garbage
The tool is absolute garbage. No instructions, does not seal onto cable in any fashion, it is like it was engineered over the phone by monkeys. Lube might be fine, but as I never got the tool to work, I never got to try the lube.
