Fit great, instructions terrible
Got this for the spring. The windshield itself fit very well. I Have a 2017 XSR900 and it is a perfect fit. I like the rubber gasket on the bottom of the shield to prevent any damage to the headlight housing. It is the same windshield as for the XSR700 so you get both mounting options. The instructions are terrible...... you have to sit down and really lay out what nuts/bolts you have before starting. It is intuitive but not obvious.....if that makes sense. For the XSR, take care not to loosen the bolts holding on the headlight. There is a nut on the inside of the housing that if you loosen the bolt too much, it falls loose inside of the headlight housing and you have to pull off the lens etc to get it back on. Other than that, easy to install. Makes a bit of a difference when riding so far, I have found. Not as much as a full fairing but I wanted to keep the naked look of the bike and this is probably the best compromise.
