Quite an upgrade from factory
I have about 600kms with this windshield on my Yamaha Super Tenere, and I'm impressed, it's way quieter than factory, I'm 6'3" and I'm running it about 1cm higher than the lowest setting and it's perfect. Also it actually brought my fuel consumption down, I thought it would have been the opposite but I went from 5.5l/100 to 5.3l/100. Plus it looks good.
I would definitely recommend it.

Well made!
Great upgrade from the stock screen. I am 6 ft and this screen set at its highest point is perfect. Nice quiet air and no more bugs in my face!

Installed on my Honda NC750X. About 6 inches longer than the stock screen & made a big difference. I'm only 5.6' but it improved the buffeting to the chest & face a lot. Reduced the amount of bugs on my visor!

Puig Touring windscreen
I've put many miles on this screen already and it is okay. It really does relieve a lot of the wind pressure on the body. I am still looking for quieter and more rain protection as this screen is pretty narrow and leaves my shoulders and arms in full breeze. The fit and quality and price point is great and I could make do with it ... but still searching for more protection and hopefully a quieter ride. On my bike, you would NOT want to ride visor up at highway speed.

Effective and easy to install
Bought the Puig windscreen for my FJ09 and it went on in minutes - very easy installation. Very clear optics and stops wind and buffeting at highway speeds very well. Doesn't flop around either. A good addition and highly recommended.

Puig Touring Screen - NC750X
I am overall pretty happy but, as others have reviewed, there is quite a loud rumble of wind noise. I ride with a 3/4 helmet which might be partly to blame and am 6' tall. I've ordered a full face helmet and the puig clip on extension ... I'm hoping that will make for a nicer ride. I do have to say that there is not any head shaking turbulence that I used to get with a windshield that I adapted from my old scooter.
The fit was excellent

Way better then stock windshield
I have about 4000 miles on it and the protection is great. I may consider adding the clip on shield at that goes on the top and draws the air up a little more. Still a very good shield.

Is this a replacement which bolts to the mini fairing already in place, or is it a handlebar mount?
This is a direct replacement for the original windscreen on your vehicle.

2014 Yamaha Tenere, can I keep the wind deflectors on either side of the stock windshield if I up grade to this windshield thanks.Adrian
As long as they are not part of the actual stock windshield itself, and as long as they don't mount to the front, there shouldn't be an issue.
