Dont buy this get another brand kit
I bought this a few weeks ago to freshen up the carbs on my 2004 Kawasaki Prairie.
I would NEVER order a Quadboss product again.
First of all Im going to start off by saying this carburetor kit is FAR from complete.
One of the jets wouldn't thread into the carburetor all the way. The other jet that was provided was ok.
The needle they supplied with the kit had was not the same as the original, so no use if you are in need of a needle adjustment.
EVERY SINGLE O RING that was supplied was not the right size. I had to go to my local hardware store to find proper o rings.
The float bowl gasket took me over 15 mins to install per carb, because the gasket was not a perfect fit. Corners kept popping out, etc.
Only half of the carburetor screws were provided.
For what I paid, I expected A LOT MORE.
Overall,
Gaskets did not fit right
Jets were not correct
Needle wasnt correct
All o-rings were not the right size, nor were all o-rings supplied for a full rebuild
I would not recommend this product to anyone nor will I ever buy another quadboss product again. Waste of money and great waste of time

Most of what I needed.
Pretty good kit, pile of research - but the kit does NOT come with one of the most important parts, the slide throttle diaphragm, which should be replaced whenever carb decides to go sideways. Apparently, dealer only in the Great White North, and was more than the Quad Boss kit. Pretty satisfied with what we purchased!!!

Great kit!
Bought for my 85 250sx atc. Worked great fixed all my carb problems. And the air/fuel screw is extended so you can adjust much easier than the stock oem screw!

Good as new
Bought this a month ago and installed it due to bike not running right, would only work on full choke. Repaired it with this kit and cleaned it and now its great.

Pretty complete kit
Pretty complete but the screws that come with the kit don't screw in perfect.
Better reuse the OEM one if still good. Also, the gaskets for the bowls are not top fit. You have to stretch them to fit.

Worked out perfectly
The carburetor kit worked perfectly for our 86 Fourtrax 250. All the pieces were a perfect fit and the quad now runs as smooth as the day it was bought.

The kvf650 has dual carbs. So is this a kit for both? Or do i need to buy 2 of these kits?
