Good product
I decided to rebuild the starter myself rather than buy a more expensive new one. Kit was complete with all the parts I needed. Install was simple and now the ATV fires up without issue.

Fit my 06 xr650l perfect
Everything fit geat and my starter started rite up the first try, felt good cuz i was pushstarting my bike for a month lol
There was a plastic peice and two metal things i couldnt get out of my starter houseing so i couldnt replace thos, just replaced the brushes and cleaned everything and it worked great!
Keep in mind you dont have to take your carb all the way out, just get it off the rubber intakes and u can move it enuff to wiggle the starter out ;)

J'ai acheter cet article car mon starter commençait a fuiter et avoir quelques problèmes, les joints sont couper a la hache, des bavures et des coupes très croche, le oil seal même pas de la bonne dimension et la cage a aiguille avait déjà de la difficulté a rouler convenablement... le set brush s'il va durée aussi longtemps que l'original... n'achetez pas ce produit, il n'en vaut pas la peine, il m'a fait perdre beaucoup de temps et d'argent.

Brushes worked well
The new brush assembly fit perfectly and worked well. Te tail bushing also fit perfectly. The front bearing fit into the case but the shaft did not fit - the needles were too large and there was insufficient room. As worn brushes were my problem, I cleaned, greased and reinstalled the old bearing. The seals fit well, but the square gaskets that seal the case were puny. I used the old ones, which were thicker and more robust. Overall it cured my problem - the starter works great - but it did not provide a complete rebuild.

Questions
I purchased one of these kits for my 2002 Kawasaki ZR-7S but the shipped item had a pre-assembled plate (not like the photo). The brushes on the plate were in the wrong place and couldn't be moved. Do you have a DIY plate and brushes like in the photo?
