DIY forks seals made easy
For someone who does a set of fork seals every 5 years... this probably isn't the tool for you. For someone like me who does not 1 or 2 sets every year, but dozens as I'm the group's go-to bike mechanic, then yes... this certainly makes life much easier. Turns 4 hour job into about 1.5 hours per set of forks. Very sturdy, well made and perfect for smaller diameter forks right up to beefy 48mm & 50mm forks. Combine it with a fork oil level syringe from MotionPro and the right spanners/fork cap tools and you're set.

Average Item. Useful but quality was lacking.
Purchased this compression tool to make doing fork seals a breeze. Upon receiving the item, I noticed that the construction of the tools was not even close to its price point. poor looking welds, along with chipping paint, oil and grease mark up and down the tube, metal shavings around the main thread and a crooked label.
Overall though, it was a satisfactory purchase, does the job but would not purchase again based on the lack of quality control.

Works great
Yup, it is pricey but I was sure glad I had it when it came time to compress the spring. One thing I had to do to keep the fork aligned was to put a strap around the fork and tool. Once that was done I was able to do the job without any assistance.
