I bought this a month ago to add a camera mounting position. It would have been perfect except that I needed a longer threaded section. My mistake, not theirs. I've been using RAM Mount products for 2 decades in everything from truck laptop holders to motorcycle action camera mounts without issues. They are my go to solution for mounting anything removable.
