I contacted the seller when this item arrived. It did not fit nor would it stay mounted. I had to McGyver it in order for it to be at least a satisfactory fit by cutting it to then gluing it into position. Not ideal. I contacted the seller . I am pleased that they provided a "FULL REFUND" with apologies. Anyone can make a mistake and this is what happened. This seller is honest and most fair. I am very pleased about that however anyone purchasing this item should know it does not fit this model. as stated.

3790 Ram mount need modifications to fit
I have a Garmin 3790 which was meant to fit in the mount, the mount has roller wheel on the top which would not work with my 3790, I ended up cutting the entire wheel and wheel mounting bracket off the RAM mount with a hacksaw and now it works perfectly.

Easy setup & adjustments
I purchased the RAM cradle and mount prior to a road trip of close to 2 weeks. It is very sturdy and easy to adjust, however, a hooded top on the cradle would be beneficial to prevent sun glare on the screen, otherwise, excellent product with solid mounting and no vibration.
