This version of the spring-loaded RAM® Quick-Grip™ holder provides a secure fit for a variety of large phones and other devices. The adjustable side keepers ensure that devices like GPS units and Bluetooth speakers within the listed compatible dimensions will also fit in the holder. Included is a short RAM® double socket arm and zinc-coated handlebar U-Bolt base that accommodates rails from 0.5" to 1.25" in diameter.

Robust cell mount
Good quality cell/GPS mount as you can expect from RAM.
The base and the horns support are made from plastic, the rest is metal.
The balls are rubber to absorb the vibrations.
The product came with no RAM box or packaging.
In the fortune box were just 3 plastic bags: one the RAM Quick-Grip, another with the screws/bolts and L shape horns, and a third one with the support arm and the U shape bolts to attach it to the motorcycle handlebar.
The instructions are useless and it came with a RAM brochure/advertising of their other products.
I've watched a video on YouTube in order to put it together.
The mount is solid and robust. It looks easy to put and remove the phone from the mount with one hand.
It has the flexibility to put the L shape side horns where you want so they do not interfere with the phone buttons. There are 6 places to put the 4 horns the mount comes with.
It seems that it will be ok for my iPhone XR with the case. That's why I've bought the XL RAM Quick-Grip.
The support with the ball came with the paint scratched. I don't know if it is a previously returned product.
You can see the close-up in one of the photos.
I didn't put the U shape mount on the handlebar yet.
I'm thinking about putting some kind of cloth to protect the handlebar chrome.
I will update this review once I start using it.

Worth every cent
I've gone over some pretty hefty bumps and it remained rock solid. And so easy to access at the same time.

Strong and secure
Really nice and solid mount, adjustable for a custom fit of your phone, holds position perfectly, ridden with it over 500km so far with zero problems. Pricey but feels high quality, metal clamp and strong plastic holder.

Wish this fit my phone with the hard shell case!
This is a great mount, it holds firmly and is well made. Sadly with the size of most phones today this is a dud. Yes my phone is on the list....but not with a protective case on it.

Better Than The X Grip, In My Opinion
This thing is quite good for my stupidly long phone. It holds it very securely and the little arms can be moved to different spots so they don't interfere with buttons. I would trust it even without the side arms, because it holds very well from the top and bottom. The construction is very sturdy, and it's a top quality product. I blasted down the highway for 1000s of kms without issue. You don't have to fuss with rubber bands or anything like with the x mount ones.

Better than expected
I bought this Ram mount system for a trip out to the east coast with the specific purpose of using this mount to hold my phone so I could use my GPS navigator. It mounted to my Roadking bars without any issues and I was pleasantly surprised at the spring tension built into the unit. The clamping force was fantastic and it held by device securely in place without any doubts that I had made the right purchase. This mounting system combined with a waterproof hard case worked well beyond my expectations. Construction zones, pot holes and rough terrain were no match for this mounting system. If I had to speak of any negative aspect of this mounting system, it would be that I wished the folks at Ram made a clip on sun shield of some sort to cast a shadow over the mount. My phone screen was hard to see at times due to sun reflections but that was expected. Final statement is this, it's not very often a product over exceeds your expectations but this one did and I don't regret buying it. Bravo Ram for making a product that doesn't disappoint.

Great Phone Holder
Bought this for my 2015 MXZ snowmobile. Used it on a 950km trip this winter as I needed to use my phones gps for the trails. Awesome holder, super sturdy, never moved on the bumps. Will swap it in the summer for my atv. Phone I had was an IPhone 13.

Would this possibly work with a Samsung Z Flip 4 with the...well, the fact it flips in half length wise?
If you are planning to mount your phone unfolded, it will fit but is not recommended as the top grip pulls down strongly and may fold your phone. This mount will also not work if your phone is folded.
