Works but didn't come with proper screws
Works fine but didn't come with the right screws for my Yamaha FJR1300. It came with 20mm and 30mm M4 screws, but not the 25mm M4 needed to mount to the brake reservoir, I had to buy those at Canadian Tire. I bought one of these mounts about 5 years and it had the right screws (Mounted on clutch reservoir) not sure why the change. For $30 it should include the right screws.

Slight surprise
I assumed the base was rectangular, like the reservoir lid; it's not, and looks a little odd. No matter...I stuck the unit on with super velcro, but the whole thing wobbled when I attached the GPS. I ended up running a zip tie around the handlebar and the RAM base. It's all solid now. I had to remove the lower plastic around the handlebars to get the zip tie on. It all went back together fine.

Not straight forward for BMW
My K1600 BMW uses wide pitch plastic threading screws on the clutch reservoir cover so the ones supplied didn't work. Eventually found the right length and style in a Mikita parts fiche. Also only 2 of the holes lined up requiring some drilling . Not unexpected with a universal style part and it's given me a reasonable compact mount for my radar detector.
