The RAM® Tough-Claw™ is the perfect mounting base for toolless installation and removal on round, square, and odd-shaped rails and bars. The small version of the RAM® Tough-Claw™ can quickly be clamped on rails ranging from .625" to 1.5" in outer diameter and is ideal for mounting mounting on the yoke of an aircraft, handlebars of bicycles and motorcycles, or even on kayak rails and roll bars. This kit includes the popular spring-loaded RAM® X-Grip® phone holder, featuring an 'X' design that expands and contracts to provide a perfect fit for your device – even if it's in a case. This large version of the RAM® X-Grip® fits phones ranging from 1.75" to 4.5" in width and keeps your device completely functional and accessible. For outdoor applications, the RAM® X-Grip® includes a device tether that is recommended for added security and peace of mind.

Installé sur un triumph T100. Facile à installer et à enlever. Je partage 2 Triumph avec deux autre personnes donc je dois l'enlever à toutes les fois. Si vous réussissez à perdre votre cellulaire en roullant... Selon moi il y aura pas juste le cellulaire qui ne sera plus sur la moto ;-)

Good grip on phone but plastic bracket broke
Mounted this on Streetglide. Fits nice and clamp seems solid on handlebars. Phone very solid between the rubber studs but unfortunately plastic bracket broke last week.
Now we’ll see how good the return service is...

Terrible product, fundamental design flaw.
This unit has about 10 degrees of play after any phone is installed - unit shakes let to right. Totally useless for any real world moving vehicle application be it car, bike or boat. user guide says to purchase the peripheral rubber band item which holds the phone edges to the unit rear. this item is also prone to breaking (at the branding point - useless rubber under only nominal resistance). the manufacturer mentinos using broken popsicle sticks to jam into the rear X-Grip gaps to stop the play as being the only solution. Not good enough at all from such a supposedly renowned manufacturer IMO.
NOTE: The Fortnine video review of these mounts breezes over this fundamental design flaw and you can see the presenter noticeably holding the mount so as to not showcase this movement. Not good enough.
Useless piece of junk. Do not buy it.

Would have been a good product but…
Bought 2 of these for myself and the wife for a bike trip around Australia. Unfortunately I hadn’t opened the packaging till we arrived here. Found one was cracked on the swivel making it not usable. The other one though works great. Easy to install on any bike without tools.

Will this clamp fit a Honda Goldwing? The bars are quite large.
No confirmed fitments. You would need to check the clamping range:
Rail/Tube Surfaces: 0.625" to 1.5"
Flat Surfaces: 0" to 1.14"

What size handlebar is this compatible with. RAM doesnt provide any of that information which is so frustrating. Handlebars come in different sizes expecially after markets.
They provide both a 3/4" and a 1" U bolt which should be able to mount on most bike handlebars.
