4 Steps to Configure your Mount
Ideal for motorcycle handlebars, the RAM-B-231ZU consists of a 1" B size rubber ball attached to a zinc-coated metal U-bolt base. Designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail, the U-bolt base accommodates rails from .5" to 1.25" in diameter. Included are black cover caps to be placed over the exposed ends of the U-bolt as well as a composite adapter that can narrow the rail to a minimum width of .5".

Solid quality
Already have two ram mounts for my hand healed GARMIN GPS and my cell phone. Had the ball mounts on my bicycle and my ATV. Swapped the ATV for a street motorcycle but forgot to remove the ball mount. Glad to see they sell the ball separately. Love Ram mounts for their superior quality and versatility.

Quality and shopping experience poor,,!!
All though I've had good luck with Ram mount product in the past, This item arrived with the paint chipped and peeling off and the bolt holes were not machined big enough to accommodate the included bolts,,.

"The flaking finish is the way this product ships. Each individual model can have variations of the same issue. It is due to the way it is manufactured and does not interact with the installation or use."
"As for the mechanism not connecting correctly, the best thing to do is contacting Ram directly to trouble shoot. If a replacement is required, they can send these out directly to you for a quick resolution"
I did reach out to Ram and after 10 days, no reply?
I have managed to correct the imperfections with a file and a can of paint however I rate the quality and shopping experience as very low..!!

Love the Ram system
I have used the ram system for years now on several motorcycles. They are very adaptable to any kind setup you choose to make, clamps. bolt on etc.......I use them on cameras, GPS , water bottle holder etc....I see lots of them on M/C's on trips across the country.

Great Product Easy Install
I've bought 2 of these from F9, great product, easy install and fast shipping. Have them on my Ninja 1000ABS and my V-Strom 1000. Just have to switch over the X-grip to the bike I'm riding.

Works well for bare bars

Great feature
I bought this to move GPS mount,previous owner used a RAM mount that caused the GPS unit to sit too high ,this one moved it to a perfect spot for me.
