good product
Good product it fits both my Phone and GPS with minimal adjustment. However it does not sat in the description that you need to have or purchase the mounting portion (ball and arm) to hold the unit on the bike, so I had to place a second order to mount the holder.

Bought this for my KTM 350exc-f works as well as I guess it could...
can only mount my phone one way or the side holders fingers interfere with buttons on my iPhone 6 ( you could probably remove one and the thing would still hold great...
Done a bunch of riding and a rally ( hard class ) dumped bike numerous times phone never seemed in danger (except when it went underwater!) and never fell out.
The x wing one looks a little sexier but if you do real enduro this one holds better ( adventure tourers get whatever you like )

Wow! It's useless by itself. No way to mount it
I read the reviews saying doesn't come with mounts but I figured I could use my existing Garmin GPS mounts. For the most part, yes, except the holes on the ball mount don't line up. So now I have to either buy a ball mount, or just toss this and buy a whole new mount that includes the proper ball mount. Whatever is cheaper I guess. I don't want to risk buying the wrong size ball mount. There seems no links here to where to buy the proper ball mount.

I thought this to replace the X-mount Which although good requires webbing to secure it and the rubber grab points invariably interfere with iPhone buttons.Including calling 911 in advertently…

Solid cell holder that quickly detaches your phone
I bought this mount for my dirt bike. I wanted a naked holder without any mounts because I built my own bracket off my hand guards. I need a secure mount for the RAM holder to attach to and everything works the way I want it to. This is a great product that secures my iPhone Xs that I can detach in 2 seconds to take a picture or check my GPS. I’m very pleased for what I got and for my application.

Does this just simply mount to handle bars with what is included. Or do I need to purchase something else?
The RAM-HOL-PD3U is a Cradle only. It is compatible with RAM® diamond ball bases for attaching to double socket arms and mounting bases. There are multiple configurations that can work with this cradle, depending on where you want to mount the cradle. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer service team directly.
