More secure than you would think!
I've taken one ride out since receiving this to test it out... but what a test it was!
True Story:
I had a close call while on my ride to test it. It was night, and while lane changing on the highway at speed, I saw some debris a little too late. I hit whatever it was, and it launched my front wheel off the ground and turned my wheel off centre. When I landed my wheel wasn't straight, so I found myself having my very first tank slapper (and hopefully my last - it was terrifying, but I recovered it)
Despite a violent tank slapper, the phone stayed in place! Awesome!
And yet, even though my volume buttons are placed right under one of the grippers, it doesn't press the button in enough to activate it. It's like the perfect balance of force. Not so much based on pressure, but more so on frictional grip.

Desert Tested
I bought this about 2 months ago. Mounted it on my KLR and did a 2 week on/off road trip in the US south West. I had no issues. I was amazed at how the phone did not move at all even in washboards.
The downside was that every once in a while if I was not careful it would trigger the volume button of my iphone.

Good mount BUT….
Great mount that fits with my existing RAM mounts. However, not recommended for an iPhone SE (2020) as the mount pushes down on the side volume buttons.

Holds phone securely but arm tends to rest at volume buttons on my I phone. Takes some adjustment to avoid this issue.

I bought this as a cell phone holder, but it also firmly grips my 5" Garmin. Went on a 80 km test run, and this is a great alternative to the overpriced specific GPS clamps. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Le Google Pixel 3 XL est de dimensions comparables au Samsung A50. Donc, pour répondre à votre question, je crois que oui, ça doit forcément être compatible avec le A50.

Do the two arms rotate independently, or are they linked together? I have a cheap version of this and for some reason it on can rotate independently and it causes the phone and arms to rotate when I go around corners
They are linked together. Squeeze the left two together and the right two will do the same. The four arms are pined in the centre so each two work together.
I love mine and will only use Ram Mounts. On a Harley 2011 Ultra Limited.
