iPhone 8 Plus fits perfect
Fits my iPhone 8 Plus with a Spigen case perfectly. I tried my best to shake the phone out of the mount and I couldn't. This Ram mount should be wheelie proof even without the rubber tether. I placed the top rubber mount over the ringer ON/OFF switch. Placing the top rubber mount over the volume switches caused problems.
I ordered the matching rubber tether only to find out that a rubber tether is included with the mount. Now I have a spare.

Doesn't move in roughest of terrain
Took my DRZ out onto singletrack, RAM mount held over bumpy trails. Also solid at high speed gravel roads. Ensure your phone is mounted evenly, and I used the included rubber backing to provide more tension across the arms.

Rubber retainer failed twice.
I haven’t used this ten times yet and two of the four corners have broken. I use the I phone 8 and the small camera. Disappointed, is there warranty?

Solid holder
Works better than expected. Used on some pretty bumpy trails and my A70 didn't move at all, even without using the add-on tether. I had to use it a bit off centre because of my phone's button locations.

It works
My Apple Maxs fits securely when on dash of my truck. It doesn’t jiggle on gravel roads. If it ever warms up I will try it on my mtn bike. If it’s as strong as my Ram mount I use for gps on quad then I won’t have any issues.

Questions
On Ram website with this part number (RAM-HOL-UN10BU) it seems to indicate that there is an optional "tether" included. Can you confirm?
My Ram Mount ordered from this site did not include any kind of tether.

I am interested in this holder, but cannot figure out whether the mount is included, or what mounts go with it. I want to install the mount onto a vehicle console. Links to related mounts would be helpful.
This does not include any mounts. Go to ram mounts website and see how they sell their parts. Each piece is individual so that you can design the perfect fit for your application. Got them on both bikes and both cars. All difrent setups
