Airflow to the body is provided by PWR|shell mesh panels at the front and back of the garment. They are equipped with the comfortable and lightweight CE-level 1 SEESMART™ armor at the knees and hips to keep riders safe and protected in case of a mishap. The adjustment straps at the hips can be used to get the perfect fit to your body. The Airwave 3 pants are designed to be worn on top of jeans or shorts if needed.

Perfect Summer Riding Gear
I am 5'8", 190lbs with a 33" waist. The Large fits me with the adjustable waist cinches in a neutral position, meaning I have room to wear pants/shorts or boxers underneath and can tailor the waist size accordingly. I ride an Adventure-class bike and travel rugged mountain ATV trails through smooth paved highways; these pants allow for plenty of breathability and comfort.
I had read the everything ran small with the European sizes, ordered an XL and they were approximately 3.5" too large in the waist. Fortnines return policy and customer service was outstanding and I found the return process very simple and easy.

Great pants, but size chart is waaaaay off
Love the pants. They look like what I expected and wanted. But the size chart? Max is off by nearly10cm. I measured the pants. Returning L and ordering XXL.

They seem fine but fit at lease full size small
Be sure to buy the next size up to you usual size. This pant in size Med is actually a little smaller than a similar lined pant I have that's size Small.

Great pants!
Great pants and super fit. I'm a 5'4" slim woman and they fit well. They didn't have the women's pants so I got these instead. Great fit with enough room for shorts underneath. Only complaint is the that the hip protection is less practical and substantial then Alpinestars with the easy to remove nucleon pads.

Love these pants!
I sized up as per previous reviews and they fit well. Extremely happy that there are "short" sizes available! Not something seen on many products limiting the options for us shorties. I was hesitant to buy the black because of the sun/ heat, but also didn't want to look like a Stormtrooper with the white, so I went with the black. These pants keep you so cool that you don't even notice that they are dark. I did upgrade the knee protectors to Revit Seeflex RV14 Knee Protectors for added safety and they are perfect for me now!

Great fit!!
Love these so much! Great fitting, and comfortable, I highly recommend these, rode 5000 kms wearing them so found myself removing the knee pads at one point but just another great option to have!

Yes, they do have side zippers on the ankles. They also have an adjustable ankle Velcro strap.

Hello , i wear usually 32-34 what size would you recommend ? M or L? i presume it is designed to be put on a jeans also ... thanks
From the size chart, 32-34 looks to be right between M and L Tall. Can be worn over jeans (from description), but if you plan to do that sometimes, I'm guessing L Tall might be best for you. This question was posted a while ago. Did you end up getting these?
