Winding your way to work in rush hour, you'll appreciate the breathable mesh panels at the front, the back, and the inner arms that send a current of air around your entire body. An abrasion-resistant 600-denier polyester construction adds a sense of secure comfort, plus you can customize the fit with tabs at the waist, cuffs, and bicep.
Eclipse 2 has evolved. Now there's SEESMART CE-Level 1 armor at the elbows and shoulders. You can up your level even higher with the SEESOFT CE-Level 2 back protector (sold separately) to offer inconspicuous yet highly effective impact resistance. Exactly what I was looking for.
I've been a bike rider for over 55 years and have currently been looking for a bike jacket for the warmer weather here in Eastern Canada in the summertime, a leather jacket being too hot and sweaty. I'm 5'-8, 160 lbs, 33 inch waist and 39 inch chest, not too much belly. Ordered the Eclipse 2 in medium and it fit perfectly, a bit on the snug side with just a t-shirt underneath. Didn't want any larger because I don't want flapping in the wind at speed. Shoulder and elbow armor is comfortable and the bicep adjustment is a nice touch. Sleeve arm length with arms outstretched is just right, and the jacket sits just below my waist just right. The jacket feels substantial and well-made. The inner pocket takes my cellphone no problem and the zippered front pockets will fit my wallet great. I can't come up with a single criticism and the jacket also looks great. I would advise anyone with a belly to lean towards a larger size. The price is very reasonable considering the inflation filled dollar these days, and ordering from Canada avoids shipping and customs hassles. Overall very pleased.

The green barstard
I like the green! Added an icon back pad, fits well, shoulders and elbows are hardly noticeable. I rode in this with snow on the ground wearing an softy mid layer underneath and some warm gloves and I was comfortable even close to zero, much more versatile than I expected. With a t shirt underneath you get such a nice breeze. No regrets as my primary jacket since I always carry a warm and rain layer.

A must have
For those who refuse to ride without a jacket, event in hot days, this is the jacket you need. Plenty of air flow, beautiful style ! Very confortable. Well protected! I ain’t have nothing to say against it ! This is not a jack of all trade though. Good to ride around 20 to 30 Celsius. I took a larger size to ensure being able tu wear a sweater under when the evening get colder.

A Learners Experience
I am a newbie and this is my first jacket. I was hoping for something all-round. It fits nice and snug and comes with shoulder and elbow protection. It’s very good for summer days since it’s a mesh jacket, but you could get chilly in the rain/night/cooler days. I suggest a warmer layer underneath for that kind of weather.
It would be nice if the back protector was also standard but it’s not, so keep that in mind as that will be an extra cost. The elbow protectors (for me at least) aren’t really in a spot that would protect my elbows at all, so that’s a bit useless now.
Overall I went for looks over actual protection it seems.

How is the Eclipse 2 different from the Eclipse?
The Eclipse 2 is the new version of the now-discontinued Eclipse Jacket. The major change is with the armour- instead of third-party armour they now use the "Revit See-smart" armour - which is a softer armour allowing for a better fit with the same level of protection. Also includes the wind catcher zipper and a V-flap at the cuffs, along with different colours.
