Surprisingly airy!
I did not buy my jacket from Fortnine but feel compelled to write a review because I like it so much.

Revit Ignition 3 Jacket review.
For reference I'm 170lbs, 5'9" - size 52 is perfect.
FIT:
Fit is amazing.
The way the elbow pads 'pocket' that part of your arm feels very comforting and at the same time is comfortable on or off the bike. Other jackets I own/'ed don't give me that same assurance the pad will be where it's supposed to be if I wipe out. This includes the shoulder padding which is well placed and pockets securely.
The additional back pad is just a bit less perfect ergonomically than the others but the assurance of it's capabilities feels right. It's big, has 3 layers and it's extra dollars if you want it.
LOOKS:
The Revit engineered leather, as they call it, looks real, feels real...kinda, but surely passes as leather. The mesh material in-between the leather parts feels very tough but light and flexible - not flimsy at all, as the leather. Sort of like a chain-mail suit except finer and probably made by aliens.
In other words; it moves as one unit and doesn't feel patchy.
USAGE:
Two zippered pockets with leather tab is easy to use with gloves (same for forearm vents). One inside mesh pocket , velcro tab.
Surprisingly airy for a jacket so armored. I can wear this jacket (without the included 2 under layers - later) in 25c sunshine and be comfortable unless in traffic. Forearm zippered air vents (with mesh), torso mesh, back mesh (back pad sweats me in above 22c though). All this provides great airflow yet retains excellent wind protection- and I stress this for us naked bike riders who go far- EXCELLENT WIND PROTECTION. So-called 'summer' riding jackets are great but at speed, and anything above legal , the benefits of simple wind protection can be as important as the armour it surrounds.
The jacket also comes with 2 attachable liners. A vest for warmth and a full sleeve waterproof jacket. With both under-layers I'm pretty much bulletproof until snow.
The waterproof liner works well in colder temps too because it prevents the mesh from allowing cool wind inside. That, plus or minus a hoodie, and I'm good almost all year unless above 25c.
I really love this jacket. The only thing I can think of to make it better would be maybe a channel or holes in the back armor for better ventilation.
I highly recommend this jacket.

Quality jacket and pants
I wanted a vented jacket and pants with excellent protection and water proof capabilities. The Ignition jacket and pants are well constructed, fit to size and look pretty slick. The shoulder, elbow and knee protection stay in place, which is pretty darn important. The only disappointed is the waist band hook which started to loosen pretty quickly. Overall, it's a real nice outfit. And FortNine's service was superb. The delivery was prompt and the purchase was easy.
